Great video! Just purchased a 2025 Sedan Sport Civic. I previously had the 2011 Civic Coupe which I bought new also....the longest I ever kept a car. Sticking with the Honda brand due to their reliability.
I sat in a 25 last week in a new color called blue lagoon which was real sharp looking. The engine is all new this year an Atkinson cycle engine with less HP than last year (150hp vs. 158hp) but fuel MPG is up from last year.
What's the meaning of giving the base Civic a new engine with a lower 150hp peak power vs 158 pre-refresh??? Is the torque curve improved or something? Does direct injection improve performance? DI = potentially problematic down the line. Hard to see this as an improvement.. tbh
Honda needs to relocate the switches on the console next to the cup holders - just a matter of time until spilled beverages get n and damage the switches.
Honda should have not got rid of the k20c2 engine in 25. Also Honda 25 civic hybrids are having engine problems. The car insurance is super high on the Accord and Civics. I got a 24 HRV EXL last year due to lower insurance in Texas.
I'm not gonna complain with that 150hp coz Im driving 2013 nissan versa sv pure drive and it has 109hp 😂😂😂 it feels like the engine is gonna blow up! So far it still running at 138k mileage on it at the moment 😅
150 hp 8 hp less than the previous sport trim. And I don’t like that CVT, it just drones no simulated shifts. My 2022 sport touring hatch has much better simulated shifting, and it isn’t all that great.

@@dabsfordayz2150 In Texas, I wanted a 23 Accord EX last year. My insurance was going up in my 6 months 445. A Civic was going up 440.00. The lowest hike of 235.00 was the 24 HRV EXL. I refused to pay 300 a month for insurance plus the payment. I sacrificed the Accord I wanted and got the HRV due to the lower insurance.i pay 229.00 a month for insurance. My car payment is 342.00
Bought one this past Saturday! Love driving it, huge upgrade from a 2014 Civic LX
This is the reason the new accord is not selling. The Civic looks way better than the accord. The accord has become too expensive with less features
I agree the new accord is ugly that why I got the 2025 sport
I Love my 2025 Honda Civic. ❤ Had it a month now. Thanks for the video very knowledgeable.

Love civic. Picked one up today.
Great breakdown of the 2025 Civic 😎👍
Thank you! Guys for the very nice detailed review in the 2025 Honda Civic Sport.

If you switch to sport mode do you automaticallly have to use the paddle shifter?

For sure intake valves carbon buildup
I use the adaptive cruise control and the brake hold in a light show. The car pretty much drove itself while I enjoyed the show.
Looks like it’s refreshed just enough.
Great video
How much below Invoice for a sport hybrid?
Also the civic is quite spacious now
Honda big they big ones with the 11th Gen civics ‼️‼️

do these have fog lights?
Yes they finally do.
@@cameroncampbell1638no they don’t I own one lol
No fog lights
Yeh pls get your information correct it's 205 bhp combined
I don’t like the refresh at all. It looks better on the sport I admit, but I don’t like the sport touring just doesn’t look as good anymore.
That was a nice 0-20 sec to 60. lol. So underpowered.
GET A HYBRID HIT ME UP
the accord is bland, expensive, should the accord had a V6 it would be more interesting to buy
I have mixed feelings about these for sure.
I am only interested in a Manual Transmission. Honda is really disappointing.
NOT liking the new 'fascia' --- the previous fascia was.......... PURRRRFECT!!!! que malo!
Barely refreshed, less horsepower and more expensive. SMH
Why they remove the airvents and usb at the back?
The front of the car looks like a darth Vader mask total ugly
Front and rear fascia sucks. Looks like some sort of municipal street sweeper.
Still has the awful Start-Stop. Go for Corolla/Camry instead.
U can turn it off and u get sport mode good luck in that boring camery
You can turn it off
Not heated seat, not side mirrors camera, not electric seats, not sun roof. Not worth it
