I knew how to cut hair before barber school. I was a school teacher and put students hair. I enrolled but tbh barber school is much more expensive then 5-10 years ago and almost like a full time job. So I drop out turned my living room in to a studio. No I'm not license but I make 115s a year with no license. It's go in a shop not even seeing 50s keep that in mind it's still all about the money just find a good barber that's willing to teach you.

Barbering school is a joke, you gotta do Cosmetology school. You learn a lot more about hair there, than you will at a barber school.
