Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. I saw Ana at a concert on Saturday, February 11, 2023. As wonderful as these videos are, seeing her perform live was even better. She had the audience mesmerized and quite literally took my breath away. I had a chance to chat for a couple of minutes with Ana. What you experience is a soulful beautiful person. My advice to anyone who is watching this video is if you ever get to see a live performance do not pass it up. ❤️😎

I’ve seen her a couple of times. Never a chance to talk with her unfortunately. You are right. She is totally mesmerizing live.
she sat down, the spot came on, she played a note and the audience was quiet and entranced the entire show. I will see her the next time she is near.
I saw Ana in concert at Elgin Symphony just outside of Chicago and she was absolutely incredible. You have to see her live performance. Absolutely legendary.

Lovely, as usual from Ana. The character tone from that instrument matches perfectly the character of Mario's composition. A perfect clarity in the definition from Ana. Whoever gets to kiss her hand is blessed.
Her hands are calussed and finger nails trimmed to her specs beautifully. She has the hands of a musician and the soul of an angel.
I was lucky enough to shake her hands. She thought it was funny that I took her hands in both of mine and shook her hands twice. I was excited to see her performance. She played with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and was brilliant as usual. 😋

Thank you, Siccas channel, for bringing us marvels like this. I almost cried.
But not for Siccas, I wouldn't know Ana, so I will echo your thank you to Siccas. I practiced as an agent as a young lawyer, what seems like 100 years ago. Ana just needs to get more exposure and do some more contemporary pieces like the Beattles and Eric Clapton. I think that draws in ppl from other genres. I would like her to try an arrangement of Dwayne Allman's "Little Martha" to get her exposure to more ppl. Her arrangement of Paul McCartney's "Yesterday" was beautiful.
She hits every note clearly. This is beyond mastery. This is generational talent.
She has the nuance and tonal control of a typewriter. Technically perfect but a very colorless and robotic performance.
I cant wait to see her live in Austin this year...already have my ticket

She is quite a player, one of the very, very best. If she ever visits Arizona, I’ll do all I can to see her perform in public.
I spend my time between Az. and Illinois mostly around Chicago and Phoenix. I drove up to Milwaukee for the last concert and if she plays anywhere in Arizona, I will be there. Seeing her perform live is worth it. You might want to bring some binoculars her hands move so fast and gracefully. ❤️😎

Certainly a demanding piece. Lyrical sections are interesting. Rapid ones while impressive, are less pleasing to the ear. The Smallman's (?) extremely responsive, though its uniform/boomy volume can be harsh at times. Brava Maestra!!!

Why does it sound almost a semitone sharp? I noticed some comments complaining that the guitar sounds dead or lacks depth-could this be attributed to or exacerbated by the bizarre tuning choice? I had to squint really hard to see if she was using some kind of tiny capo lol
I know it's not the player - I recently watched a video of Ana "messing around" on a new Redgate (no. 500 I believe) where she performs, in a rather offhand or spontaneous manner, the Prélude and Allemande from Bach's 1st cello suite. It was absolutely brilliant, and the Redgate sounds phenomenal for Bach. I've seen her live a couple of times too and she is a consistently near-flawless performer, so my surprise upon hearing this performance on an out-of-tune, seemingly lackluster guitar stems from my usual deep admiration for her playing and the instruments she chooses to perform on

What a fabulous musician who uses her incredible technique to showcase the music and not herself . My only complaint is not with Ana but the new trend to use double top lattice guitars . Yes they are louder and clearer but they lack warmth and sound very analytical .
I would love to hear her play this piece using a Daryl Perry or a Simplicio guitar .

Probably would sound like shit ngl. It requires different touch. But if you give her like a day she would learn in cuz it's way easier than classical. But idk if she can improvise

Proud of seeing her in Athens. What you listen in the vids is what you get when she performs live. Eyewitnessed flawless performances for a 100 minute concert. Shes a true LEGENDARY artist. Thank god she lives in times that world can find and distingush her talent and applaud her art.
