I am a very ordinary person, just a retired construction worker who loves listening to classical guitar. I am not a musician and my comments will thus not be able to do justice to the magnificence of that performance. Over the years, I have heard that piece played live by Andres Segovia, Julian Breem, John Williams and Christopher Parkening, I have also seen many performances of it on youtube, including an excellent one by Ana Vidovic. But none of those touches the emotional depth and beauty of this performance by Ms. Martinez. Breathtaking! Thank you!
Your humility and ability to appreciate music put you way above 'ordinary'! I bet the construction work you used to do would have been done with care and pride.
It’s the most marvellous piece for guitar,I have spent hours of my Life listening to it.

Hermosa interpretación de una de las más bellas piezas para guitarra que haya compuesto el maestro Francisco Tárrega. Isabel la ejecuta con una calma y virtuosismo increíble, las pausas, hermosas cadencias, el trémolo de una simetría y claridad deslumbrante en el sonido. Can I make a long-winded comment. I visited the Alhambra a few years ago. It was a long-held desire to do so and of course it was stupefyingly beautiful. When we hear these pieces by Tarrega, Albeniz and others, the emotions that they evoke are so powerful. The Spanish tradition seems to embody, through the Muslim / Arab connection, a standard of art that has hardly been equalled so far in the world. Finally, this guitarist seemed to bring the full beauty of this composition through her confident, deeply felt tracking of the melody above the complex fingering, which not all guitarists seem to manage. I would love to hear her play Albeniz' Capricio Catalan. That's the end of my comment!
