The car crash while driving is very realistic. No inertia like any other game I've seen. The damage happened in a split second and the damage it caused was very realistic. I like!!!!
Amazing, incredible, the frontier between cinema and games has never been so blurred. AI + UE5 produces ultra realistic details and this time it's not excessive banter. All that's lacking here is higher res textures on the ground and some procedural generation + randomization on different elements (bikes, tarp on the side of the road, crowds) when you walk and that'd be damn near perfect.
i still dont get how people who are not the real creators gets the matrix concept and its unvierse more than the original duo of directors. This trailer raised the hype for the new and infamous 4th take and demonstrated that was even better in 20 minutes game experience than the 2 hour 28minutes long feature film!....
When I first had gimpse into the open world gameplay I thought the car physics would be as realistic gta iv or the cars from la noire something like that
See, this is what gaming can become, we've got got hardware and capability now. Just a shame so many developers would rather churn out unfinished products and grab your money than finish it outright. This is a demo, and already you can see people worked extremely hard on it! Hope it goes into a full game at some point down the line 😎👍
Cyber had a rushed release tbf, they were pressured and released far from ready. With a few more things it'll be awesome. I didn't find it too bad from my end, i left it unplayed so i can get the max experience from updates etc.
I think when we get to the point where graphics are indistinguishable from reality there's going to be a real demand for games that you can actually tell are virtual (we may even be there already), because as amazing as this sort of thing looks, I actually prefer games to not be uber-realistic; I like to be able to tell I'm playing a game when I play. I'm sure the newer generations will crack on with the ultra-realistic games, but being someone that was introduced to gaming in the 90s, these kinds of graphics are a bit 'much' for me.
One thing I hope they change is the hit detection being more like hitting a physical person with your car and not the hit person turning into lines of green code when you hit them in your car. Your car hits other cars as physical solid objects in the world so hitting a person should feel the same. The character when walking detects physical people as objects by evading contact and can’t just walk through them so it should be the same in a car. Hopefully this game makes its way to pc Edit : never mind just found out it’s just a tech demo

I started on the NES. For myself to see this, is pretty neat. However, imagine this being your "NES" experience? What is to come in 10, 20, or even 30 more years? Imagine all this, doubled or quadrupled. I don't mean the resolution or the size of the environment necessarily. I mean just the way people interact, better physics-based stuff you can interact with. Can you go into a random building to the..... 23rd floor and there is a meeting going on with... let's say 17 people about marketing failures in the last quarter? Or maybe just bust in and its an old lady making coffee in her apartment all alone, now scared..? You "get get" what I'm trying to ask here? How long until it does start to become insanely real. Not to mention the user interface. Like what you're using to interact with the game. What's next, we have some sort of "safe, easy-to-use, IV hook-up" then a VR headset? Like you pretty much "jack in". The remote controls are partially done by your brain alone, no movement.. lol. Idfk. For any smart ass out there, I'm simply just trying to think ahead, and have fun. How many people back in the day, sitting at homes playing Super Mario Bros. 3 could have foreseen games like this, honestly? Perhaps they would get close... but idk.
I think eventually the entire humankind would end up living in the digital world, which might already be the case right now with our so-called reality, it's just because we can't feel it when we live in it physically. That could be why we need to build up a new world - the Metaverse - in another dimension.

If done right.....this COULD compete with GTA-6. Original playable cast members would be absolutely killa.
True
I only want to play as neo
Okay if there ever was a time to completely remake path of neo. Now would be the time
The car crash while driving is very realistic.
This looks really good, I'm actually surprised at the quality, I've never played any of the previous Matrix games so this will be a first
You should. Enter the Matrix was an okay game, but Path of Neo imo is superb. But you gotta have a PS2 or OG Xbox to play those games.
It's not a game bro it's a demo showing what Unreal engine 5 could do
@@kpo1233
You are playing a character, shooting at people in a moving car play on PS5. Seems like a game.
@@TihetrisWeathersby You can't shoot and there is no storyline. You can't do anything except roaming on an unfinished city
It's not a game....
Looks stunning! I just hope the game won't be primarily filled with trigger events. I'd prefer some actual combat.
Not a real game
It’s only a tech demo for unreal engine 5
i still dont get how people who are not the real creators gets the matrix concept and its unvierse more than the original duo of directors. This trailer raised the hype for the new and infamous 4th take and demonstrated that was even better in 20 minutes game experience than the 2 hour 28minutes long feature film!....
I love that it looks like the 1st one. Like they take you back to that time and get to live the movie and in the matrix😍😍
Car damage model looks amazing, however i dont like they feel light when hit
Yeah I wasn’t expecting the crashes to feel light when I played
When I first had gimpse into the open world gameplay I thought the car physics would be as realistic gta iv or the cars from la noire something like that

Lol nitpicking much? This is legit incredible
@@crumblebee6728 its not nitpícking, graphics looks amazing, but physics are really bad, games made more than 5 years ago have better car physics
OMG, I need this. The action, the frames, this was FANTASTIC.
Unreal engine 5 looks outstanding…I wonder what’s going to be the objective of this matrix game compared to the one when PS2 was around..
If this is how next gen games are going to look, I'm beyond excited. This is truly Unreal!
He said the thing guys...

The vehicles need a tad more weight to them. But I enjoy the Matrix admits its a game. lol
Lmao the dialogue and marketing skill are top notch
They better finish this up and announce it is Enter The Matrix 2 or something cuz it would be a total waste to have been just a tech demo.
This invironment with the fighting/ flying dynamics from path of neo would be insane
See, this is what gaming can become, we've got got hardware and capability now. Just a shame so many developers would rather churn out unfinished products and grab your money than finish it outright.
This is a demo, and already you can see people worked extremely hard on it! Hope it goes into a full game at some point down the line 😎👍
It’s just that a lot of them are lazy and selfish
I just hope that this game doesn’t have tons of bugs like cyberpunk, then this game is PERFECT
That is a lot of frame drops and motion blur but this is a new engine and damn if this isn't everything id ever hoped a matrix game would look like.
Hopefully this game makes its way to pc
Edit : never mind just found out it’s just a tech demo
And it’s the Matrix.
"Agents are bad, but whatever you do stay the hell away from marketing."
Truer words have never been spoken.
🤣😆🤣
I've always thought about it after watching the movie The Matrix, and I think it would be so cool to put Zion Battle into VR.
It's basically a playable cinematic cutscene or trailer which we've been dreaming for years.
Hopefully we get an actual full game with the same graphics.
The ps5 had this demo. I got to played it. Fucking badass. You were allow to walk or drive around the small city they made for this.
I know the colour grading is to emulate the movie but don't it remind you of the brown filter PS3/360 games of 2010s?
Let's hope this is how the entire gameplay and not just the demo, it looks so realistic, this could be next game of the year
I hate the main protaganist i hope they have a create mode 🤦🏿♂️
incredible, I hope it's possible to play with Neo, when they were going to make the Batman game, nobody took their faith and managed to create an incredible game. don't tell me you can't make a matrix with Neo, yes you can
This ain't a game this is real life
I need someone to devote a huge gaming budget to recreating the Matrix series in a video game. The hardware power and the engine is there now. I need a matrix video game asap!
Very impressive for a visual demo, city looks super alive ! Imagine with 5 years of work on top of that, great physics, AI, mechanics, this would be groundbraking ! Hopefully GTA 6 can reach this level of visual realism
Hope Warner Bros. Games put one of their studios. That a lot of them use Unreal Engine. To work with UE5 on a matrix game. The franchise hype will be back on full after Matrix 4........... .
19:00
I need RTX 10000000
Why couldn't this still be available on PS5 in December of 2023?
This demo game of the Matrix is so amazing and awesome. It's like watching the Matrix movies all over again. Hope they make it to a full gameplay on PS4, PS5, and XBOX. This is definitely a video game collection for me and everyone else who is a huge fan of the Matrix movies. I also can't wait to see the Matrix Resurrection movie as well and see Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie Ann Moss as Trinity once again.
Sure, but not for last Generation Machines, this is not possible on PS4 and X1 for sure. It would be a Nextgen Game like this Demo for PS5,XSX and fast PCs
With this level of fidelity, and on unreal eng 5..it wouldn't be possible for last gen to handle it..
Shit I mean 20 years ago we had Lego character models
I love how she didn't shoot the pedestrians when firing at the chopper and dipped her gun. So dmn cool. Shows absolute concentration.
Absolutely amazing. I vividly remember when I first saw Gran Turismo on the original PlayStation and thought to myself: ‘oh man, it can’t get better than this!’.
Wow this looks so good! Almost looks real
This is incredibly ridiculously unreal.
I can't tell if it's real or not.
I hope a developer uses UE5 for a big open world game.
That what the name of the if engine says ;)
Unreal Engine 5 is the most mind-blowing gaming experience so far. Sometimes you think the next one can’t possible be better, but then it is.
Being a gamer allows you to truly experience how far technology and imagination have come in the world, and you always wonder: “What’s next?”
GTA meets the Matrix!
🧢
The physics are on point. Wow how realistic.
Having seen the last movie this demo feels more like the old matrix than this latest instalment.
This is 100x better than Resurrections.
2055: "lol, look how shitty our graphics were back then."
