THANKS for your VERY INFORMATIVE video.
Where did you get the black strips to cover the cavity in the floor tracks?
    Kind regards, Ben

Hi.... great video. Is that a DIN fitting I saw in the corner? ALso is the 3 seater bench removeable? Thanks

You mean the dog lead? It isn't DIN, just a fixing that came with the van. I haven't tried removing the bench but I am pretty certain it comes out. Getting it back in would be fun though I reckon!

@@ottothemercedesmarcopoloho1995 Thank you for your reply. We are really interested in buying a usedHorizon but ae struggling to find detailed info on the vehicle. We have been to 2 diffeterent dealers in the UK who seem to know very little. I do appreciate this is not a commonly sold car but still... We are wondering how you slide the bench seat forwards and backwards as they were unable to move it at all? Also can you change the bench seat to seats from a V class for example. Its hard to tell if or find any information if the rail sysytem will accomodate? I see from a european brochure that you can get premium seats in the horizon but from an interent search believe this is unavailable in the UK. Sorry for all the questions.

The dealers are a bit hit and miss. Best advice would be to go to a show where they are demoing. You at least will find someone there who knows their stuff.
The seat moves easily, just a lever at the right hand side. You should also be able to swap in v-class seats as you can have an extra row in the middle anyway? To be honest, even after owning one for 6 months, I still have questions I want answering!

Hi, link is in the comments just above. The flooring I used is here: best-carpets.co.uk/ready-sizes/8719-vinyl-flooring-pcv-spirit-100-5812018-pastilles-red.html?search_query=red+flooring&results=5#/pvc_size-100x200/color-red

Thanks for your reply. I checked that site already. But it's only the red vinyl flooring you used for your van.
What I'd like to know is where you obtained the black strips you used to cap the channels in the floor.
I hope you can help me with this.
      Kind regards, Ben

what sort of thickness was the red flooring you had? i’d like to do something similar but i don’t want to buy something that’ll not slip under the trim

2mm I think, but you can get away with a fair bit. Order a sample and you can test it first to put your mind at rest.

How long did this last in the end?

    • @ottothemercedesmarcopoloho1995
      @ottothemercedesmarcopoloho1995  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Changed it this year. I had to put some non slip rug material underneath, but it did it's job. I now have a false floor consisting of 9mm piece of plywood with altro flooring glued to it instead. Far superior, but a lot more cost and effort than this simple fix!

@@ottothemercedesmarcopoloho1995 wow that’s quite involved. You should upload a video of that. Would be cool to see.
      Thanks for the reply.
