Thanks for the review. Quick question, do you know by chance the surge power of the compressor (when it's starting a cooling rythm)? I'd like to run the freezer with my Goal Zero Yeti 500x and that battery has a fuse on the 12V outlet. Thanks

Just tried to measure it but couldn't get a reading above 30W! I would be pretty surprised if the Yeti isn''t up to the job.

Thanks for the video! Question: On my MP Horizon (2017 model) there is an air vent under where you sit the cool box? Do you have an air vent there too? Looks like rear end of the box is not sitting on anything. Have you driven about with it since installing? Is that not too unstable?

Same air vent on mine. It sits on there just fine with a slight overhang. We drove about all last summer with it in place - it only comes out for winter!

Also worth adding that we do have a piece of rubber matting cut to shape to protect the carpet in that bit. Will add to the stability. The bungee does the job anyway.

18 litre - big enough for a family of four for a couple of nights (so long as you don't fill it with booze!). Full details on amazon: amzn.to/2Wsoxlu
Price on there is OK at the moment. I have noticed that it fluctuates by as much as £150!

@@VitorMendesplusgood spot. There is something wrong with the listing. It is the 30cm one you need. That is how it is referred to in the text description., but not in the specs. I wouldn't risk it....

Hallo Is 12,8 V ok to use the cdf 18?

I would think so. I have a cheap voltmeter plugged into the 12V socket and reads 14.4V when driving (with the fridge on). When camping, the fridge works fine down to around 11.9V. It should go lower, but I have a long cable with quite a voltage drop. Link to the manual here: www.manualslib.com/manual/1023455/Waeco-Cdf18.html?page=11#manual

Thanks for the video. How much night can you run the cooler on the battery without having to start the MPH or to use external power?
