you can see how exciting a Mike Tyson was and how quick a knockout occurred.
How would you feel still trying to get in to your seat after your beer and food trip took a little longer and you missed the first minute of the fight after spending that much money?
Would you feel "lucky" that you went to an almost 30 second fight possibly, even though You may not know Tyson was part of boxing history yet?
What if it was your girlfriend you had invited, she had demanded you get you something to eat and drink, she made You miss the fight. Would it affect your date and your original reason you spent that much money on a girl that hates boxing? What if she was really really really hot?😊

      Great Reaction guys.
It’s been a while since I’ve thought about his rise and fall through hindsight.
Culture corrupts family values; one step forward, two steps back.
Tyson put his determination and fury into his trainor’s technique and strategy that only timing can beat and be beaten.

Mike in his prime was the most feared fighter in the world. Fighters who eventually beat had to wait until he self destructed. If D'Amato didn't die, I believe Mike would've retired undefeated.

How did it go so wrong after he destroyed Michael Spinks in 1988? Mike had the world at his feet, then it all went wrong after that Spinks victory.A lot of people have said that the death of his mentor and father figure, Cus D amato was the start. Then both Robin Givens and Don King ruined him.Even so, we lost a great champ after he lost to Buster Douglas. He was never the same again after that defeat.😿

    • @davidfortuin4146

@derekharrison1582 Without his moral compass, Cus D'Amato Mike self destructed. The bad company he kept was also a contributing factor amongst many. It's sad coz I firmly believe Mike would've retired undefeated had Cus lived until then.

I disagree with the guy saying Tyson wasn't even in the top 3 fighters. Before Don King & Robin Givens when Rooney was still his trainer and Mike was still determined I don't think there's a fighter in history that could've beaten him. That includes Ali, Liston, Frazier, Foreman, Shavers, Mayweather Jr, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, etc.

In my opinion Mike had the most potential out of every boxer EVER, just think about this guy, age what 12-13 getting into a boxing gym , then your trainer ,who have seen many great boxers and as seen in the video knows Ali well enough to call him and talk about "how the hell are you losing", telling people "this is the greatest boxer ever", this thing doesn't happen.
I personally think that if Cus didnt die , this man was undoubtly the GREATEST boxer ever, even Ali didnt have his potential.

    • @MrVvulf
      @MrVvulf 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Cus dying before Mike achieved championship success was a tragedy.
Nobody at 19 years old is prepared to face the fame, pressure, and onslaught of leeches who come at you from all directions. And of course, there is the inner battle against ego, pride and the human tendency to "ease off" when success comes too quickly.
Cus tried to protect Mike from all the nonsense by assembling a great team around Mike, but even they weren't enough.
Mike was taken advantage of at every turn, and ultimately lost his focus.

What really set Irom Mike apart and allowed him to be such an aggressive fighter was his speed. It’s also what made him so powerful. It’s like bat speed in baseball. Hitters don’t focus on strength to increase power, they focus on bat speed.
Speed and quickness were tools he was born with. Cus taught him how to use them. Iron Mike Tyson is THE GOAT…

Scariest human to ever live. Iron Mike was a wonder... hes a living legend in life, not just boxing. Very few boxers transcended the sport...Ali, Rocky, Foreman, Dempsy and Jack Johnson.....Tyson is one of those boxers. Very rare. Hes by far my favorite boxer to watch. People know when they are watching greatness... Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, Babe Ruth... Ali. We all saw greatness when we watched his fights in the 80s. Im plenty old enough to remember watching him. Best to ever do it if you ask me. Love Mike.

His mentor father figure Cus proved him he ain’t no nothing but a born talented champion. Then showed him a purpose in his bitter dark life to be a world recognized professional champ. He kept telling it to the public in every win over his first couple of fights not only to gain mike a publicity but to gain self confidence and he was counting on his achievements. Cuz kept him busy with tough trainings with pro boxing matches within short time gaps to concentrate him on his dream path which cuz cleverly designed and implanted in mikes mind. He gave him a hope a purpose to live and taught him how to dedicate, discipline, concentrate and acquire what he deserved.
But after his death there wasn’t anybody to show him a purpose or i d say he was not smart enough to get the real thing out of it that cuz had been teaching him all those years.
When you became a champion is the time when you really have to be the smartest reorganizing and setting up new purpose and goal either to maintain your career in a more professional way or to prioritize on your self actualization needs.
The same like story with a happy ending comes from the Dagistan. Its more of a positively convincing that tells you about training your mind on greed for fame and money and letting go life time awaited precious things even you own it when the time comes.
Watch the story of Khabib the eagle who dominated the UFC GOAT status for MMA history.

Some other top boxers to consider in the GOAT conversation: Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Willy Pep, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Muhammad Ali, Manny Pacquiao, and a few others - Look at their accomplishments, pound for pound. All of them changed the sport in different ways. It's easy to assume that the heavyweights would beat the lighter fighters in the ring, but that doesn't disqualify the lighter fighters from being among the GOATs. Look at how the rest of the sport had to change around them. Willy Pep's defense was so good, he won a fight without throwing a punch - his opponent fatigued from missing punches and just gave up. Some went undefeated, but most did not. Dempsey started in bareknuckle boxing and was one of the few to successfully adapt to boxing with gloves when the sport changed. Marciano put the heavy into heavy bags. Muhammad Ali was an immaculate boxer who took trash talking and acting out to a new level; but even Ali said that Jack Johnson was "crazy". Johnson was a black boxer in the 1920s who won the championship and held it for years while openly sleeping with white women and traveling wherever he wanted to go. Have fun going through films on those guys, too.

It's how you decide to describe Mike being in the top 10. Best boxer and what does that mean really? Most ferocious? Most feared? Hardest hitting? Most knockouts? Most belts,? Best attraction?
Mike Tyson Is top 3 for sure. 😊
It depends on which category you give the most weight when you assign BEST Boxer on your award, but Tyson is up there.
We have enough TH-cam video; we can practically judge ourselves without the experts. Or can we?
We do like our judges judging and prejudging sometimes. I'm noticed there's a lot of influencing out here in the media world of influencing. I think you influenced each other well here.
