I can see skulls relating to emotions in terms of mental health. And it ‘cups’ the brain haha. Thanks for sharing! I really like the skeletal figures and their anonymity as well.
Thanks for the help. I'm on the fence on if I want these. I really love the art but I'm so use to the raider deck I wasn't sure if I'd connect with these
Amazing review this was exactly the kind of information that I wanted to know before purchasing. also thrilled to hear that she's Canadian as I am a Canadian as well and I am just praying that I don't have to pay the exchange and the duties because my decks have been predominantly limited to things I can get without that even though I love supporting Independent artists as a former (thanks covid) independent freelance artist myself. To me you nailed it with the lovers. I love that instead of the sun we see the moon at night and for me it represents an ageless quality there is no Eros with his Arrow standing by to hit someone who's young and in the bloom of youth; this to me represents a couple that has weathered the test of time yet the flowers are still in bloom and alive like their love. Agree completely with the devil card, their hands r intertwined, it is Lucifer as fallen angel & seductive temptation rather than evil.
I was worried when I only heard your voice through one side of my AirPods 😂 but anyway, thank you for this video. I’m trying to figure what deck to buy (I’m a beginner)
One of the best things I did for my practice was a daily reflection--pull one card every day, study the meaning, and really live in that energy for the day. Also consider keeping a journal and writing out your thoughts on the card as well as interesting differences in meaning from one pull to the next. It definitely helps you learn the larger meanings and well as the subtleties of each card. Get yourself a good Rider Waite based deck with traditional symbolism--while artistic decks like this are beautiful, they can be a little confusing while you're still learning. I used the Robin Wood deck a lot while learning and beginning my professional practice, and I still use the Cosmic Tarot a lot.
@@ThatAstrologer thank you! That's great. I read reversals and am looking for a secondary deck that allows for that but so many decks have specific artwork on the back that would make it obvious a card is reversed. Great review and good to know.
I ordered it during the first Kickstarter campaign which was funded in October of 2017, but I think they experienced some printing snags and the decks ended up shipping in the summer of 2018 so probably about six months or so. I think that's a totally different situation now though
Fairlie Theta mmm ok thank you I ordered mine last night 😂 so obviously it’s not going to ship immediately but I couldn’t find anybody who said how long it took for them to get their deck
Skulls are a vessel, which is why she chose them for cups. :3
I am desperate for this deck. I don't really have the space for another deck, but I would totally MAKE space.

Cups are the element water and are represented by a vessel for holding things as others have said. I like the idea of using a skull as a vessel.
this was an awesome review. thanks.

“Charcoal on my dress” 😂🤣😂🤣😂

*buys one deck* this is what I’ll use until the one I want comes out! Then I’ll get this other one for Christmas!!
I just bought this deck and it is sooooo stunning
It totally is, it's still one of my favourites!
@@ThatAstrologer I have an affinity for skulls and skellitons so I absolutely needed this deck and I absolutely love the coloring to it

Awesome review, been meaning to buy this for ages but now I can justify it! 💘💞
It quickly became one of the top decks in my regular rotation--definitely don't think you'll regret it!
I'm buying this deck for my Santa. I think she will love it.

Sorry about the audio! I honestly didn't realize when I made this that I'd messed up the audio channel, but thank you for your patience!
Fairlie Theta that’s okay, this video was really helpful!
Fantastic review! You answered all my questions regarding this beautiful deck, thank you!
omg this is so beautiful amazing!
It's definitely still one of my favourite decks!
I’m just starting to get into this and I’m excited! And tips?

Faith In the Stars thank you so much!! Thankful for you and your energy! Together we will change the world. One step at a time.
Would you be able to read reversals with this deck? Does their back design allow for that?
It does! That's definitely one of my sticking points, too, but the back design is totally seamless

The moon is a bat skull.
Just curious how long did it take for the deck to arrive?

@@stephanieperez432 oh yeah I think it's probably much more streamlined now!
