I met John and Bucky 20 years ago in Guilford , CT. They couldn't be nicer or more humble. John invited my brother and me to hang out with him before the show and then go back stage where he introduced us to Bucky, his brother Martin (bass player) and his mom. Incredible musicians and people. A very sad day when Bucky passed away. Tremendous guitarists and entertainers. John is a real musical historian
Bizarre. I'm 64 in two weeks' time. I just chanced upon a Bucky Pizzarelli album: 'Love Songs', earlier today. Playing it over and over, such a great collection of numbers. So the algorithm brought me here and........ 'I could cry salty tears, where have I been all these years' Great music men, both. Thank you.
Where is this coming from? I love Bucky but I need to know you know...you know man.. sorry couldn't resist that one but I would like to know if you have any idea about what you are talking about. If you you do well ok. Just wondering.
The reason this was shown in April is because Bucky passed away. It is not about John in 2020. John doesn't need your affirmation Steve, he co produced and featured on James Taylor's last CD and was touring with him in 2020, and he makes a lot of money touring all over the world, when not in a pandemic. John is a guitarist and vocalist. He's not trying to copy Sinatra, and his style isn't even close. Bucky and John have played with Paul McCartney and countless others. Bucky was featured guitarist on many number one pop hits. You can look it up on google. So Steve, you really need to get out and explore the world of jazz and other popular music today.
RIP Bucky. May your family continue your legacy for generations to come.
Rest In Peace Bucky....class personified.

Beautiful music and story. We’re seeing the trio in Hollywood later this month.
Saw Bucky with the great Stephane Grappelli in Boston in the early nineties. RIP Bucky.
“The Wonder Of It All” is the best tv commercial in the history of television… “meet me at Foxwoods!”

Django Reinhardt and Les Paul were among Bucky's influences.
The singing is average, but unquestionably great musicianship. Excellent guitaring.
The Great American Songbook
No appeal to me. Band is good.
Never heard of this guy. Certainly no Frank Sinatra.
the world does not give a crap, what you have heard of; nor, are these musicians meant to compete with Sinatra vocally.
@@brainsareus bless your heart. Nobody gives a crap about your what you have to say. You like that singing then buy some more.
