PRE-SAFE Functions Limited usually means the Collision Prevention Assist radar is disabled, you need to drive the car for a bit on the new ABS sensor and that should go. ESP/ABS is on the same module as Collision Assist, also when there is a current/pending fault code on the drivetrain it will disable PRE-SAFE then too!
Active Bonnet Malfunction - there are two small sensor units on each side of the front bumper, connect and align those up - the light will go away or... may need a software upgrade!
@@AmarKhan01 Nope, just behind both sides of the front bumper, small plastic box with 4 screws, no pipes are connected. But we have had many Mercs that just required a software update.
Great video bro, just found your channel and I'm loving the content already. You made light work of the suspension on that corner, good to see the car moving under its own power👌🏽
Excellent progress again Dee. I just watched your M4 build three times over! This Mercedes’ is coming along nicely. Best content as usual. You are truly keeping it moving. We salute you.
There is a special tool for the track rod arm which would make life easy for you. It has multiple C clamps that would just swap out for diffrent sizes and it would take the torque out if you find any too tight to take off..
Hey Dee thanks for making these videos, I bought my first salvage car today, hope it's not a lemon 😄😅. I am sure you will get this Merc back on the road in tip top condition.
@@flippingcarsrepairs it's hard to say because it depends on stuff like finding parts and paint. I bought a Kia Ceed 2014 1.6 diesel but some parts are hard to find. VAG cars are good cus it's easy to find parts and do diagnostics, but lot of other people also know that. You kind of have to find what you are comfortable with working on and know what cars can sell for.
You got lucky on this one fair play if gearbox was gone youd lost out big time .Salvage cars is a risky business +too much competion and lots electronics on cars ,before the internet / co part arrived you dealt with the salvage yard directly(universal salvage/sws etc etc ) You should get hold of a copy of Autotrader in 1990 an look at the salvage section 😱 your viewers will love that 👍 ❤
You can get the odd one but mostly no parts are crazy expensive and so still are the prices at auction so many would be repairers killing it hence so many in compartment etc half repaired our repaired being sold buy private seller as in auction number on the screen ending in C are popeple selling a car that’s no good at sold as seen auction
This is the proper way to do repairs, a tin of body filler is not how you should repair bodywork. I should be no more than a a very thin skin of filler otherwise it will crack over time from the vibration of the engine. 😃😃

The car is looking good overall D
This looks like Chingford
Don't forget to replace the 2 bonnet actuators too, that might also help clear the pre safe malfunction message !

Noooo inwanna come back!!!!
The caliper brake line is twisted need to undo the twist in it
There are detonators below the bonnet towards the rear, check they haven’t went off during the incident
Pre-Safe faults will normally be radar or pedestrian sensor related
Woooo!
All jokes aside this is a good flip
Ya ya its looking lovely. Wat no tracking need bro ?
Check the resistance of the glow plugs to see if theyre faulty shoukd be around 0.8-1 ohm if good
I will get them out tomorrow. Thanks
@@SALVAGENATION can check with them in situ. Positive on top metal part negative to battery
Can also do it by taking the relay out an connecting the multi metre to the connector that way you dont need to struggle pulling the connectors of 👍👍👍
do you use aftermarket panels? And where do you get them from?
Great vids bro
Would a amg line bumper fit a a35 ? Also could you advise a good place to get Mercedes parts from
So happy the gearbox is fine also digging the k.i.m hat ❤ how much ? Lol
Hi mate where did you buy the front bumper from thanks 👍
Car lamps and panels
The pre safe fuction may not work bcs of your radar on bumper still not installed yet
It's probably down to the radar not been plugged in on bumper will need reset after after put back together
Don't forget to change Tpms sensor over
is it the merc with renault engine
How much did the car sell out for ?
8500

Would you guys say that there is still good margin in the super high end?
