This isn't the only video where I've seen Grand Cherokee Laredos out performing Wranglers, and I always assumed it would be the other way around. I got my first Jeep last year, a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 5.2 L V8. I love it. Now I want another Jeep and I plan to always own a Jeep for the rest of my life.
+CavvyStudios GC are a great rigs. As you can see, many CG and Wranglers here are heavily modified and since they have differences (like wheel base) one any perform better in a given trail obstacle. Hope to see you on the trail.
Dude there's nothing stock about that Cherokee so if you want to put 15,000 bucks into a (*******) Enter whatever vehicle you like you can have a awesome off road rig!!

That green zj is BA! I looked up the site that was written on the side of it (rockbottom4x4) and found the build thread for it but all his posts were deleted from it. Anybody know why? I'm curious what he had to do to the front "frame" rails to get the air shocks on.

While I prefer XJ's (currently on my sixth), after watching this video it makes me miss my 96 5.2L V8 Orvis. Thumbs up for what I'm sure was an extensive build with the performance to match! Continues to prove the saying "Jeeps are built and not bought."

Green zj is bad ass ...what's the specs?
I'm not sure as the builder has moved out of state to be closer to the tube buggy competitions. As you can see its plenty modified, and was built even more after this run including a v8 swap. thanks for the comment and see you on the trail.

Thanks for the comment Alex - we where out wheel'en at this same site this weekend - this gully was again washed out by rains - and we had the big rigs on 40" and 44" - Look for a video this weekend.
We had Jeep Grand back when grandpa was still around , and it had a frame ...this is no grand it's a station wagon k-car ...lol...when gramps gets out of the Clink I'll have to ask him if this is grand .

Nope one is a Suzuki and its funny because i was watching this and thinking my samurai would crawl that shit,but i know stuff is usually worse in person than what it looks like on vid.Then dude crawls it perfectly in a samurai and gooses it at the top and lost his line.

Uhhmm...got seatbelt?! I only saw 4 vehicles out of all of those where they were used, and it was towards the very end. Great crawling and offroading video, but not promoting safety...not very smart.
Who chooses to build a Zj with a 4.0 when they have factory 5.2 and 5.9 option ?...LAME !
Because the straight six is more reliable, cheaper and still has good crawling torque.. If you want a mud monster/dune blaster then by all means a v8.
