- This is a honest review of the famous HJC RPHA 70 helmet. I tested this helmet (riding the Yamaha Tracer 9) in the city, on the open roads and on a highway. Personally I think that this is a wonderful sport touring helmet with some very nice features. It offers a very good fit and a lot of comfort and it is available for the right price (the 71 model is already in the stores). It is a full-face helmet that has the integrated sunvisor and a chin curtain and a lot more. In my opinion this is the best choice for the money right now. Hello my friend Gregor- You really did excellent research & review with this helmet. I also have a HJC, along with a Nolan. Both are top of the line helmets. That pearl white color is also my favorite color. That was a super great price also. That would equate to $283 USD. So even if you add tax, you would be around $300 USD. WOW! Ive always been an AGV helmet user but since ive owned my HJC70 about 6 months, I'm definitely a convert, they are fantastic. The only helmet ive used that you can feel the top vents working..

Very nice Gregor! I prefer a half helmet/beanie-style but full face has its place…especially when the weather is cold.

That’s a really nice looking helmet and HJC is a decent brand. This model is a good mid range helmet. I can see why those buttons are hard to operate with gloves on. I have one of their older helmets called the IS-16. Be safe bro.

Great video, i have the rpha 90 carbon, very similar and fantastic helmet! Agree about the visor but i do find it scratches quite easily and is softer plastic

@@RRRRefuelRideRace I've done about 8k miles on it, changed the clear visor once and I prefer the tinted visor as it's much more clearer and the plastic is better. Hope it helps

Hi Gregor seems a decent helmet just been for my birthday meal.
I have the new scorpion 9000 Air adventure helmet in peak white your visor seems a little awkward with that button thing so very quite helmet that’s what I like 👍🏍️

Also i have heard a lot of people say that it runs a size smaller. So if i wear a Size Large in all other brands, i should get a size XL in this one. Is it true?
It is. It is a bit smaller somehow. I always use XXL or even XL on some brands, but here even the XXL feels like XL, but it goes great on my head. :)

Hello Gregor, I have this helmet. It's a great in all ways but one, the plastic cracked around the clasp on the screen.
I replaced it, and six months later, the new one wax cracking. Not my favorite shield design... - Frank

Does it have speaker pockets?
Don’t really know if it is a pocket, but a speaker can be nicely inserted on the side. :) Thanks for tuning in. :)
Good helmet but there is only 3 positions where it will reliably stay. The bottom 2 and fully open. Anything in between the wind will push it down to the pre close position.
