Damn it Adam! Partially kidding of course… I rely on you to be consistent on your reviews. Everyone knows that Godzilla King Of The Monsters for example is an Actual A+ Audio Mix. Kong vs Godzilla was an A-. Still both very good! This movie is a flat B. Not a B- or even B+ There’s ambient sound for sure but over all, it’s Really Muted and Quieter in comparison to the rest of the examples I mentioned above. The Roars are waaaay weaker, the stomping is weak… This isn’t to say it’s “Bad” but it’s barely Good. This is Not A+ when it comes to sound. Had to do this because I watch your reviews every time you offer them and I really do rely on your recommendations.
Godzilla Minus One show us they can make an amazing human story line for this kind of movie. But warner brothers just wants to make generic big budget stuff, which is fine. But id rather see them just let the monsters fight for 2 hours with no human interaction at all. Would be wayyyyy cooler.
JUST STOP. Warner brother’s knows what they’re doing… They want it to be silly fun. It sets this series apart from the Toho ones. It’s not generic because they made a silly fun movies, FFS. 😂
It's a disaster of editing, I saw it in the cinema in IMAX 3D and as I get the 4K bluray home, it comes in 16.9 with black stripes, remember and without 3D edition, a very big disappointment, I'm not going to go into it. that market that sells me whatever the distributors want, if I saw it in the cinema in one way I want to see it at home in that same way, "no more deceptions".. no more cropped 4k... if it is an imax version. ..it's like if they sell me "avatar 2" with black stripes, I throw it at my head,,,, so another bluray returned and they give me my money back.
Not very good story wise and Godzilla running with Kong like a track team member was pretty funny. Then there was Rebecca Hall with her new short hair style with blond highlights. Yowzah!
I will give this a try just comming off watching the previous releases on my Atmos set up....great sound gotta switch my brain off big time. What is with all the pinky color on cover of Godzilla New Empire? 🐲 lots😅 of pink. Yeah I might pick it up just for the ATMOS considering it audiophile, gotta say the series is making my brain to mush.. i guess i need to temporarily lower my IQ for viewing enjoyment. Watched Skull Island and CGI starting to datealready...another 5 years will look like cartoonish just like the Star wars from 2002.
This movie is Minus One's degenerate brother who just got out of prison again and is getting a welcome home party. Meanwhile Minus One is working his ass off to pay the bills. That is to say, I'm disappointed.
I thought this was absolute nonsensical garbage. I had gone to see it as I have an unlimited cinema pass and supposedly it was "fun" but even the CGI-v-CGI battles were dull and samey, I walked out before the end of it.

They did great before this storyline. Could be better but not terrible. They’ll get a new cast next movie anyways
I like both...minus one great human story and new empire visually stunning and more enterteinment fights

No, not for this kind of movie. They were 2 very different movies. I'm happy to have both flavors of Godzilla being made at the same time.

Have to say...audio was definitely not the same as Godzilla vs Kong. That one put my system to work.
