All of my peers at work live in huge homes and pay enormous amounts for annual taxes. I choose to live in a 106 old small house and invest my money and will retire in a much stronger financial position. The same can be said about what we drive, so yes I am and proud of it.
As long as you're happy, it doesn't matter what other people light think of your life choices. I think it is smart to have a smaller and cheaper place to live.

Not Trailer Trash Ernest Bro! I divorced, almost moved into my new 5er. I chose to sell it because payments, insurance and space rental, utilities would exceed renting. So, I sold it & that was my last debt paid in full! 6 years later- zero regrets. I rent, by choice. I don't want a 30 yr.mortgage at 65!
Just watched entire video I’m in the process of a D and I’ll be living in my RV. Sold my house-bad move 😢 I teach so I can live in it by my school and in the summer enjoy the beach !

Absolutely not! Minimum of $3,000 per month to live in a small home with little land here in Boston, House prices have more than doubled, rental properties are extremely expensive. I would rather own multiple mobile homes in multiple states than one single home in one state. It’s a smart financial decision to live in a mobile home and be able to travel!
