Also. The engine is an AUA full aloy. The internal code is EA111. For polo and seat this ea111 were available with 105 ps. Only the compression rate and the Nockenwellen are different 2 the aua. Ok software 2. if you want to use a tsi Zylinder head, you had to change the timing belt and little more, but than almost every 1.4 should fit on block. Ok tsi you better change the block, but theoretically you can use the twincharged 1.4 with 170 ps. Or the 1.6 fsi. This won’t be much more weight. The standard AUA weights 90 kg. 1.6 fsi only gots a differen crankshaft 2 the 1.4. so the weight should not be more than 10 kg. Otherwise the 105 ps 1.4 won’t weight more. Same block, same head, different Kolben and different software. Ah and sharper Nockenwellen. This might be possible mod.

I would love to see this car with a k swap. Would make a great sleeper
There's this A2 I keep seeing in my daily commute, I used to chuckle at how it was basically a shoebox on wheels, but honestly now I'm going to be looking at it with fresh eyes.
Add a small scroll blower
Thanks
K20 swapped and goooooo !!!!!!!!!! 😀😀😀
Fit a high performance motorcycle engine in the bay - lighter, crazy torque and horsepower for the displacement.
Lotus 4cyl engine 😅
@@pjotrpirhagenaren't the good lotus 4cyl from Toyota? Haha
@@rasyidizulkifli2285 nah maybe, id pick the Rover K, small and on fire :D
Would be a weapon with a 1.8 20v in it
I miss this channel, i dont watch it since you drive only track built and tuned cars, but i come to check if you drove something more regular. Nice vid!
There was a german tuner, that made a turbo kit for the A2 1.4 stock engine, with a 130 hp power output.
Can you still buy it?
Legendary car, one of the best audi made❤ i have 3
My friend had one it was really good on mountain roads
I’m loving all the subtle jokes the owner is not having any of it :-)
Imagine how much fun that would be with a 1.8T or something in it.
Those things are great back roads car for the UK at least, quick enough, you sit a little higher so can see well to overtake and they are narrow enough to get past trucks etc. on small roads. My mum had a 1.6 you had to thrash it but could do unbelievably quick cross country runs for such low powered car.
Honestly that car is making Misha smile while he holds the pedal to the floor 😂😂😂😂2muchfun
I just love it when misha casually talks while driving while the owner pulls an “oh shit” face in most of the lap😂
Thanks for showing this car and how it drives.
Put a hayabusa engine in an fly away😅
Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a, Jupiter and Mars
We can’t get bored with you Misha , even you do a lap with a skateboard !!
09:37 some Ari Vatanen vibes - Same weight, minus 530 hp 🙃
Finally an affordable and enjoyable car so please nobody complain, the lack of power is part of the positive sides sometimes. Now this video shows how much we have changed to be in a hurry and faster everywhere also its really annoying how that car flashes at you like you cant go on the ring without being harrassed by faster cars.
it's not affordable...parts are hard to find this days. You enter the retro car realm:). Some specific parts are ridiculously expensive - engine mounts, some tire sizes, any interior part. For mine i paid at least 1.5 times the value of the car in parts and there are still some things that would be nice to change.
pull the T/C fuse
it might fuck with the abs
I own the 1.6L 120HP fsi version which is pretty tame at low rpm but you get a kick past 4.5k rpm. However the roll can get scary on bumpy roads, but still a blast to drive hard
I love these!! Importing one to the states as they were not allowed until recently. Also, so strange to see that scirocco in the vid, I have near identical spec car !!
This reminds me of starting out in Forza 4 and you whack and upgrade on. I like it
Love this! A2s are absolutely wonderful cars, especially the TDIs.
Misha you need to buy an A2 and put in a GTI turbo and get like 180-200HP in that it will be a trackmissile :)
I wish you drove more slow cars like this one, very fun and interesting to see what these unsporty cars (stock) can do on the nurburgring! :D
4:12
Misha rambling a mile a minute while going flat out.
The passenger: 🤓
I had a tdi 3 cylinder it was stock 75hp this one was tuned to 110hp. Loved the a2 very much and it was fast topspeed was 215km/h
Now someone needs to bring an OG Honda Insight to Misha.
At this speed even the track looks something else, almost seen for the first time 😂😂
'Race car' - Misha you are king! ;-)
Such a cool looking car! As an American, it looks totally alien to me, but in a good way.
If you ever get the chance to watch I Robot with Will Smith, you will spot a couple of Audi A2s with massive wheel arches
I never thought about this it makes sense if a car is light it can change directions better like that
never heard misha chat so much, maybe its all the extra thinking time 🤣
Oh wow, it's very good for what it is!
Definitely need just a little more horsepower, though!
Don't forget they where two persons in the car :D
@@TomA-qy6jz Yup, which is why little more horsepower is needed. 😁
10:30 with yellow through SK is decent for 75bhp!
The fuel consumption (even on track) is so damn good lol
You gotta do a 1988 lincoln town car lowered with wide tires its very good at long sweeping corners.
Haha, imagine if we all chipped in to get Mischa one of these beasts, then modded it to 1800kW with a V16 engine! He’d be blowing past every Ferrari, BMW, and Mercedes on the Nürburgring in no time! 🚗💨
