Just came across this series-Thank you so much for the information. I do have a question though regarding the drying of the green wood. I have access to several 27' diameter metal grain bins 21' tall. These bins have fans that can direct air movement either into the bin or exhaust the air out of the bin through a perforated floor. Would it be possible to utilize these for the drying of green wood? I can supplement the air movement with additional fans on the interior to circulate the air when using the main fan in an exhaust type situation. Velocity in the exhaust mode would be kept to a minimum. Just trying to use what I have if possible without additional costs. Thank you

Is there any way to just use a multimeter and measure resistance to find your moisture content?

I am milling some Ponderosa Pine logs from my property that will be used primarily for trim and walls. Can you seal the ends for drying with stain and can you stain the entire board at that time??
