Awesome video! I have a bunch of older videos from the 2014-2015 era when the screamers and leased AMT units were on the North Side and still in service that I'll be uploading very soon. -Austin.
Im addicted to spotting GP40MCs. Easily my favorite locomotive and piece of equipment on the entire MBTA, including the subway lines! That HEP generator sound is just heaven...
Granit stater here! Im praying one day the commutor rail would go north to NH! But for now Lowell Station i find is great mainly due to the fact that it has a DUnkins!
It looks pretty lively up in that area. I have taken the Acela from NJ to South Street Station and rode and photographed the Mattapan PCC's. The only landmark north of Boston that I frequented was Hilltop Steak House in Saugus, but that has been history for quite some time! Subscribed.
Great job!! Wished you guys were around when I was railfanning from Boston to Beverly...(and beyond).. Mostly the RDCs and Boston Subways.... Even some South Station stuff but that was WAY before the Internet.
Wow! That area has evolved quite a bit since I was there in the early 1970’s. Today’s BL-1 had S5’s or Whatever, even an RDC4, which was an emergency ‼️ as the S5 had been tied up in the BET after it was found to need attention after something happened and it wasn’t going anywhere for a while.
There is "No" Boston Railroading compared to the Era I grew up in and Rail fanned sadly the late 1960s through the 1970s and 80s !! Countless Locals & Freights ! 🤔
How easy is that vantage spot across from BS&G to get to? Is it restricted? I’m planning to model the aggregate plant and need to get some pictures from every angle I can, but it really is an inconvenient location
Massachusetts resident here that is hooked on this channel. This kid does an excellent job!
Hey, thank you!
Excellent catch on that Grand Junction AMTRAK power move.

Glad you enjoyed! I miss that era, I have a bunch of videos of those guys as well. Those were the days
Awesome video! My dad used to work at MIT building 46 and I remember seeing trains go by there all the time!

I saw you at government center today! I was the one with the headphones
Awesome! Nice seeing you!
Can you stop doing North station and start doing South station operations? I've always been interested in how a South station works.
Great Video.😁

What day of the week and time does this run now that they don't run it during rush hour?
It runs on most weekdays, in the middle of the night (12am-4am)
What editing software do you use?
Imovie on my Mac!
That's going to change in the future Amtrak is not going to go to North station very much longer
