      Really?? It’s interesting you feel that way. I’m not arguing w you, that’s the worlds perception of it in general. But, WHY?
      Men ALWAYS trade up for younger models. Women are cheated on constantly and the other woman... is really the other “child”.
      It’s almost expected... acceptable even when a man does it. “How is he supposed to control himself when a young, sweet, moldable, innocent, beauty flirts w him?” “He’d been CRAZY to turn her down”. Yet, a woman does it & its Poor hubby, he must be so embarrassed? Of course he is. So are women. It hurts. People hurt each other.
      Honestly, I’ve only seen bits and pieces of A Teacher. TBH...I never really thought of it from the young man’s (17 yr old child) perspective.
      It’s true. It’s easier to see the female as the victim, because she usually is. It’s eye opening to see the young male as a victim. I would think he would get over it... get bragging rights... and go on w life. How horrible am I? Of course he would be vulnerable to pain and guilt as well. I believed that only from what men & society have said. I guess they’re capable of emotional pain, too.
      BOTH hubby and student are brilliant in their roles.
      Still. Why should we pity the hubby any more than we pity wives that deal w the younger woman? I know already. Simply because it’s rare for women to pull that stunt w students. Or even more rare for the male student to get hurt or file charges. When women do it... there’s almost ALWAYS a movie on Lifetime. We know their names. When men have affairs w students... he’s a perv by law & high five 🙌🏽 behind closed doors. He does time or pleas out. Then we never hear about him again. The women... there will be a follow up movie in a decade to see the emotional damage she did.
      Men and women will always be treated differently for their actions.

    • @kicknowledgesmith8608
      @kicknowledgesmith8608 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      All I’m getting from this comment is men do it so what’s the problem ?!? There are men that do this and get way longer sentences than women that sleep with students. This is documented fact. Also when it comes to marriages in many cases the cheating isn’t with students where it’s an abuse of power. This teacher isn’t just cheating she’s sleeping with a student. If he was out of high school and she wasn’t his teacher it be a different situation. She be cheating which is wrong but police wouldn’t be involved.

He called them “wrecking balls.” Basically someone who waltzes in and completely upends the lives of everyone around them and then takes off with little regard to the aftermath and consequences. What’s really messed up is that some of these people actually do it on purpose. Like, deliberately cause chaos and misery just for the fun and thrill of it. Heck, there are even wrecking balls who make it a paid service. Like, they’re legit hired and paid to infiltrate and upend people’s lives.

But she didn’t even tell him or communicate what she needed to feel happy. She just selfishly hurt 2 people one being a child without actually trying to work on herself or marriage. The husband was completely blindsided and for that I couldn’t stand her character.

      It’s almost hilarious and pathetic at the same time how some people don’t tell their partners they’re unhappy in their relationship, and don’t tell them upfront cause they don’t wanna hurt their feelings.
      And yet will be unfaithful behind their backs, thinking that both sides can be happy without anyone getting hurt. But things get extremely chaotic when they find out about what you did. Making things worse.
