I would like to see a video series on the planning of a trip. What websites do you use? How do you find the cool little spots to see? How do you always find the interesting people to talk with? How do you plan fuel/food stop? How do you plan housing into your trip and time to be there? How to you prepare for the inevitable times plans fall through? What equipment do you use? What tools do you bring? What and how do you pack clothes and tools and equipment? And how does each person prepare differently? A more indepth of behind the scenes so to speak would be a cool series in my opinion. Love the videos. Hopefully I'll run into you guys down the road one day.
When I met you guys in Vegas I introduced myself to Josh and he said "Oh yeah, yeah, you've got a trike"! It's good to put a face with a name". Josh (and the rest) truly made me feel appreciated. Thank you Josh!
Thanks for the ride along. I love all the non believers when it comes to plugging or patching a flat on a motorcycle. They suddenly believe when they are on the side of the road with a flat! Very good planning to carry the kit. I do too. Happy Trails!
You guys rock. Love seeing all the places you visit and the history that you tell. Making my second trip out to Sturgis this year, 1st time with my son. You guys inspire us to ride! Hopefully we run into you somewhere in the Black Hills!! Ride safe
I'm an old man now and no longer able to ride but I'm loving your content and it puts me right back onboard. Thanks so much for that. Riding in the mountains of Colorado years ago with a Heritage Softail and spoked wheels, (tube). Flat and poor cell service but finally got picked up and towed to Glenwood springs. Had to stay holed up in a motel till Monday morning and get new tire etc. I vowed to never ride again with tube type tires. I see here that is the way to go. Great content guys.
Thanks for that, it's words like yours that inspire us to keep doing what we do. Thanks for coming along for the ride! And yes, that's pretty much the first time the three of us have ha to use a plug kit on the road but it came in handy and saved the rest of the trip home!
Just love the outtakes, this shows us that you guys not only enjoy the rides but the unique friendship among you three. Love your videos, can’t wait when you guys come by El Paso, Texas.
Love the videos. Planning the "Rockies" trip for next summer now, and maybe now adding a day to take in Yosemite too. I got my flat in Jackson Hole last summer. Plugged it and made it 3500 miles back to Boston through Yellowstone, Beartooth Pass, the Black HIlls, and back. I put more miles on the tire plugged than I had with it new. Thanks for the videos, they make me and my riding buddy now head for new places. Ride Safe
Big G'day 2LaneLife from Down Under 🇦🇺 Brought back some great memories I have of Yosemite falls. Love the end fuck ups.😂😂😂 May all your days be Harley days Safe travels 🙏♥️💛🐾🐾🇦🇺
I am very happy to show this wonderful and really enjoyable movie and the beautiful scenery and especially the driving on the Harley Davidson bike and the enjoyable trip.
Awesome video guys thankfully Josh had that tire patch kit. Yosemite looked awesome one of my bucket list rides. Looking forward to your Sturgis videos ride safe guys
I was stationed close to Yosemite , so I been there several times. I had a Triumph Trident, always fouled out the center plug when getting into altitude. There is nothing like this place, and I am sure it has changed since I was there in the early 70's.
Took a trip from Michigan to Maine 40 miles in took a easy out from my back tire. Stood in the rain for two hours for a tow truck. The things that make memories hey. Looks like a good trip ya all had.
Greetings from Northern California great drop. Had a flat tire on my wing once carry Dyna plugs and a pump, saved my butt. Rode it 250 miles home.🇺🇸🍺🍺🍺
Thanks for sharing this beautiful trip and inspiring us all to get out and ride AND support national/state parks. They used to let 2 bikes in on 1 pass. Oh well, guess they need the extra money, and I'll pay it!
Hey 2LANELIFE I just did that ride Modslesto, Sonora Pass to June Lake. Tioga Pass, Yosemite great ride I'll have to try your route thanks for the content 2Lane
Hello guys, great stuff as usual. Top quality content you guys make. I have a question, what seats are you using? I have a stock seat on my ultra and it is very uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
Depends on if we're riding solo or with the wives. With the wives, we rock the Road Sofa, solo either the Step-Up or Slim. All of the above by saddlemen. 2lanelife.com/collections/seats
You guys rolled right through my town of Fresno....also i NEVER drove through the Yosemite Park any less than 4 hours....Tioga Pass to South entrance at 41 or visa versa....
Thanks for the input. That was a little experiment wit a new lens we're working with and unfortunately the only filter on hand to protect the lens for this trip. Also, this one was edited at 3am from a hotel room after a 500 mile day, so we didn't have quite enough time to fix coloring and all that. We'll be swapping it out for another lens throughout though. Thanks for tuning in!
I always follow you and enjoy your videos. I've secured a reservation to camp at Housekeeping Camp in just a few days, exactly one year and one day from the booking date.
Brother would loved to have seen the tire fix. What came out of it? Just a nail or a screw? Not long ago I had a flat on a brand new tire on my SUV on Colorado I-70, from the highway so beat to sh**, that was caused by simply a sharp piece of busted up slab of highway, if you can believe that. Plug kit didn’t work as it was a slice in the middle of the tread versus a puncture. Luckily I could get enough air in it to get off the interstate into town to get a spare on, and go get another new tire at the next reasonable size town ahead. Sure creates for a slightly anxious moment.
Unfortunately, given the camera guy was the one fixin' it didn't get filmed. We think it was a nail or screw, but it must have fallen out as the hole was empty. Luckily a puncture and not a slice like in your case, so we were able to successfully plug it after a few tries and get back on the road. Thanks for tuning in!
Do they ever give you guys a problem with recording inside the parks? I know some of the parks are cracking down and requiring permits and such. Either way, awesome footage 🤙🏼
Like you guys but SO glad y’all turned down the “down the road” slogan. Great saying but man every video loaded down with it before. Love that you included bloopers. Long trips require tools and repair supplies, happy to see someone carrying them and included in the video. Stay safe guys.
Right on. It'll come and go. We try not to over do it, but sometimes we can't help it haha. The bloopers weren't quite as funny while filming, but we got a good laugh later that day lol. Thanks for the support and input
