Hey Malzi, naval main here 1. I never take torpedoes out because as you saw, you just get dumped on immediately and the second an HE shell touches them you oop your ammo, and torpedoes are ludicrously exposed. The only ships I'd take torpedoes on are like the Japanese heavy cruisers, they have the range to sit back and snipe and the Long Lances have the range to just fire-and-forget. 2. Never take a full ammo load, it's like tanks but worse. Even in a battleship, especially ones with magazines all over the place like Fuso and Wyoming, even with their heavy armor the second a 14 inch shell somes through, whoops. Destroyers can get ammo det from anything, especially fast firing DDs 3. You can get rid of your HE shell, especially on ships with VT fuze shells, because generally the timed shells and HE shells do the same thing with the same explosive filler, so you're able to reinforce the above point at the same time. Win win 4. Unless you're in extreme close quarters combat, I'd say just keep your secondary guns on the air instead of on surface ships (press E). There really is no worse feeling than being in a fight and then some douche in a P-47 got the drop on you because your AA gunners were plinking a battleship 5. Unless you have something like main guns or engines out, don't repair. Your AA guns are about the first thing to go, so when you repair, you repair your AA guns too. When they get fixed they automatically repopulate with crew, which then get killed, repair, filled with crew, killed, and before you know it you have no crew left to repair with and then you sink. 6. As you can see, the shell flight times and distances take a bit of getting used to with the deflection. There's a lot of times the ship I'm aiming at isn't even on my screen because I have to lead him so much. Also, the measurement directly under the reticule in binoc is where your shells will land, so if someone is 5km away and closing, and you're aiming at 5.1km, you're gonna miss. 7. Don't spawn immediately. Most of naval is fuckin bots, and if you spawn first THE WHOLE TEAM auto-locks on you and focuses you until you die. Wait like 20 seconds after some other ships have spawned in before you spawn. Edit: Also Moffett for whatever reason has insane credit earning potential
You can't blame him. He's a content creator and uses this as a source of income. We have no idea if it's primary or secondary but it's money and he needs it
Naval is its own pain especially with the Cadiz, its front turrets have a decent amount of ammunition above the waterline so, yeah there’s that. I recommend maybe the Moffet if you want to start? It has a lot of room to start with for newer players to Naval, its SAP is potent, damage is better against internal components likes ammo or engines, which hold the most crew You also do not want to have damage control do several tasks at once, depending on the severity, but usually you want to first Put out fire > Repair Damage > pump out any water If you’re sinking rapidly pumping water out is the best first choice but you NEVER want to do all 3 at once as it’ll brick the time to do any of them

Off course you take full ammo, in destroyer or light cruiser you can quickly run out of ammunition and the chance of getting ammo rack are pretty low. A good loadout is 60% SAP and you split in half AP and HE.
The ammo ammount actually doesn't matter. If you hit the upper magazine, the ship will explode too. And there's always ammo in it. If you carry 20 shots or 2000
@@svenk5475 accuracy no, you clearly see the difference between 20 ammo blow up and 100 ammo blow up, the 100 one will one shot you, the 20 take you heavy losses. Navy as usal. There is soo few real players that are not botting...
Ten years Gaijin.. Ten long years We've fought... Through every theatre, Since the dawn of machine. Be it by Air, Land or Sea.
Grinding persistently through endless tech trees In the name of the Snail.. So many fallen brethren at our side but the sacrifice was worth it, For we had value.!
The Great Snail now chooses to turn his back on us! He calls US the people who MADE him, Worthless! Daring to cast blame upon us for his failures alone!
He demands we sacrifice our happiness, Time, Money, Basic value and life itself for NOTHING. The Snail has been corrupted by his greed and now rejoices in our deaths, Our suffering!
Blinded by success he insists for more when we have given our all. Ten long years a loyal servant to the Great Snail.. All for nothing!
The Old Guard and Faithful Warriors left betrayed, Ranks depleted. What have you become..? We grow weary of your deceptions and refute being silenced...
Bound by passion, Fueled by spite, We now stand united and resolute in OUR cause.
WE SHALL BE HEARD!
Vive la révolution!
THE SNAIL SHALL NOT WIN
