Bro thanks for the video, my RT CAME WITH 285/45/20 on the back , front r 245/45/20 It also came a bit dropped took me a while to get used to it, it came with rims, i do got the daytona package, it comes with really cool interior, i also got 4 piston brembo mine is 2019 , makes me notice the difference we have the same engine
I know what you mean about the bluetooth delay..It's still in sync its just delayed a sec..Uconnects bluetooth connection is just slow..Its like that in almost every Dodge, Chrysler & Jeep which is probably one of the reasons why the connect to your phones os is standard in their vehicles
i feel that man! rt is super fun i cant lie i do get on the gas every once in a while haha. In all honesty the SXT has a good amount of power! Chargers in general are just exceptional cars.
I recently bought a 23 RT last call and I get 11/12 mpgs it’s a gas eater for sure only holds about 200 miles full tank but driving it makes up for it !
I feel you with the height, but like you said it comes with risks im lowered with headers and I’ll just say you’ll drive 10x more cautious lol AND you’ll notice yourself asking everyone” how’s the drive there” how steep is your driveway” 🤣
@@roxymopar yes it does look immaculate I would do it over and over again I hated my stock ride height…& it has its pros as well like mountain driving at high speed feels great no body roll and just hugs corners
a lot of your complaints are just because of the base trim. my RT has the plus package, blacktop package, performance package, etc etc. so nicer interior (not crazy luxury or anything but nicer materials), the performance suspension with brembos like the scat pack. mileage does suck but hey nobody buys v8s for gas mileage lol
You don't get good sound quality using bluetooth. Gotta use the aux for that. For these newer phones nowadays you need a dongle with DAC chip since phones don't have headphone jack no more.
My 2023 RT does the delay as well. It drives me crazy. And sometimes my screen will get stuck on the same song but if I hit skip it still skips the song
I have been thinking about getting one of these (or possible a 300S) and the interior quality is one of my concerns. I guess overall quality and reliability as well. I am currently in a 2013 Cadillac with the 3.6 V6 and it has been solid for me.
Valid points, It’s the excess weight that kills me 🤦🏽♂️ and you really can’t do anything about it other than getting lighter rims and gutting out the interior. Also hate how we only get 370 hp and the 5.7 ram has 395 but then again Dodge really built it to be a workhorse motor for pickup trucks which is why we’ll prolly never see an increase in stock hp out the factory. The pros still outweighs the cons in RT’s tho, you gotta love’em 😂
You bring up some great points! The weight can be a bit of a drawback, and I really wish dodge would've did a third iteration of the chargers/challengers and made them lighter. It's interesting how Dodge prioritized the workhorse aspect for the 5.7 Ram, but the RT's still have their own charm. The balance of power and practicality is a definite plus. Thanks for sharing your thoughts man. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
I have on a 23 scat shits stupid if i go to dev setting in settings on phone and change to dif format ot whatever it fixes until the next on and off of the car
Im planning on getting a 2017 Daytona Charger , is this the same gas mileage wise? Alot of ppl say this one has "good fuel economy" because of the 4 cylinder shift on lower speeds but idk whats the difference between r/t and daytona cuz sum say both
i just copped a 2017 daytona charger and the gas mileage is like 17mpg city and 25 highway but its to be expected lol its a v8 but everything else is good and only use shell gas
hey whats sup brotha man I was wondering do you think that the regular gt or the SXT is a good car to try to save for as much as I want to get the RT or the hellcats but that gas mileage is somewhat on the weak end but I just want your opinion. also I have a 2017 YES a 2017 Nissan Sentra that does that something with the bluetooth reason why I want your opinion is because I want to actually save for a car that I actually like
Yo wassup man sorry for the late reply! I totally understand your dilemma. If you're looking for a balance between performance and fuel efficiency, I actually made a video talking about the Charger SXT and GT. In terms of price, the SXT might be a better option unless you come across a GT for a really good price. Ive noticed that many of the 2023 Charger GT are priced comparatively to older (2019-2020) RTs. It's always a good idea to go for a car you genuinely like and enjoy driving. The penstar is still a great engine and like you said you will be getting better mileage than if you where to hop into an RT
Don't know if you made a decision yet. But, I would go with the R/T. People that first get the v-6 end up getting the hemi optioned car later on. And we have heard this before "oh, I should have gotten the hemi" Gas mileage on a Charger is 28 mpg on the highway at 80 mph. The v-6 gets you maybe 30-31mpg on the highway at the same speed. To me that's no savings in gas mileage. I got insurance quotes for v-6 and hemi cars. For me the SXT Charger is $10 less per month than the Hemi Charger R/T. No real savings there. I even checked what the insurance was for a Chrysler 300 S model with the 5.7 Hemi engine compared to the v-6 Charger SXT and the monthly rate was the same. So, if it's a situation of insurance rates for you then look into the Chrysler 300 S model with the 5.7 hemi because that will be less than the Charger R/T. And, with what's going on with Chrysler right now where they are stuck with unsold 2023 Chargers and Challengers in their lots you could very well get and R/T Charger for a Charger GT price. They will have to do some serious markdowns when this summer.
chill bro 😂 i love my RT, all of my videos and content i’ve produced make that evident. as with anything you get in life there will always be pros and cons!!
@Jay-pl2gr yup i got my scat in march and want a hellcat lol doesnt make me love the car any less gonna always want more and the ppl that got cats want demons so its a cycle
Yeah man you're complaining about the base models, plus package, performance package and alcantara is all available. You did mention this, but you can't really complain when you bought a base model. Nobody buys an R/T to blow up the track when scats and hellcats are available, sure you can mod it out with cam, headers, exhaust but if you wanted that so bad then you should a gotten a scat.
The sound system in my 22 R/T is actually worse than the sound system in my 13 R/T which had Beats sound system including a subwoofer in the trunk. Like someone mention you need Harmon Kardon system for better sound.

oh yeah for sure! notably, speed isn’t something that I addressed in this video but I concur. I recommend for anyone who wants a charger solely for the purpose of performance and speed they save to get either a scat pack or hellcat
