This is a very lovely and well conceived repurposing of apfel that had sort of slipped under the radar.
A big, lazy (litre) Guzzi in a Tonti frame with linked brakes and no clutter or fairing is a wonderful machine.
    The colour suits it, too.
The cast wheels also work. I notice a fascination with putting 70s or 80s Guzzi restos on wire spokes... But there is something very "Guzzi" about a move, early cast wheel.
This is a lovely build and must be a delight to ride.

Thanks for the kind comment, BanjoLuke1. Yes, I do think the "snowflake" wheels suit an 80s Guzzi very well. Come to think that I literally hated them a couple of decades ago. Funny how tastes evolve...

Thank you Jim. That shade of green makes her stand out as well.

@@MultiDimo My Dadbought a 1967 Pontiac Catalina in that color….. big ole boat… Lol! Always had a soft spot in my heart for that color. Use to strap my 1973 Suzuki TM125 to the rear bumper to go race Motocross….. good times. Funny how colors can bring back memories like smells can too.

Thank you, Michael. Good luck with the SP! All Tonti framed Guzzis are an excellent platform for customizations. I also have another '79 G5 which is being restored to original condition, an '81 SP, an '82 Le Mans III and a '91 SP III. Also had an '02 V11 Sport and an '05 V11 Ballabio in the past, but find myself constantly drawn back to the Tontis.

Hi, these are reverse cone megaphones with removable inserts. Bought a pair from a German website which I no longer remember.

Thanks! These are generic reverse cone megaphones that I bought off a German website quite some years ago.
