Occam's Razor..... simplest explanation is ofter then the correct one.... how long has he played the game? how many tutorials has he did? even with the contraints he put on himself to challege himself... So id say he is moving pretty much what I expected, and how fast.
Indeed!! Also, I hope Nilaus set his production facilities to the right 'proliferated' settings (production speed or productivity), as I think default is speed, but I assume most of them he'll want to be set to productivity..
Wow! I've been watching your videos since dark fog came out and this game has certainly come a long way! Your play style and video production has also changed massively since this playlist. Even earlier videos didn't have music during the time lapse. 👍👍👍
Just started using proflifration on my blue/red/yellow science, my modest build is now zooming along with science, your episodes are giving me more inspiration so thanks!
Love this series, they always bring me back to the game. Been meaning to catch you on twitch to gibe ma prime :D, I gave it now anyway. Ty for the stellar content
For those building the Yellow Science Part 3 of 3 Blueprint, unless you are building it in an area the is close to 1 of the Poles (N/S) then there is no need to move the PLS back to make room for the proliferators. Just need to do what Nilaus did with the Assemblers and Smelters then line up the 2 belts for the assemblers and pull the smelter belt coming from the PLS as close the assembler as possible and it will give you enough room to proliferate all the inbound belts.
I am playing along at roughly the same speed as you. Worked out that not only could I find crystals by cutting down trees, I could make more by setting up a simple bins->constructor system that makes crystals with the old recipe. I've got something like 500 crystals now.
Love the series! I believe it's more flexible to only proliferate inputs, because otherwise materials provided to the network can only be used in proliferating builds (and there you'll have proliferator available at the input side anyway).
Nice series, thanks for it! Quick question though, have you already researched what are the exact rules for the "Alien Mineral Protection Act" achievement? It talks about veins, so is Fire Ice from gas giants and sulfuric acid from oceans fair game?
How did make them auto adjust 17:55, anything else than holding shift? Also I'm 48h in and I just finished 21h streak this game got me worse than factorio absolutely love it, adquiring planetary logistics is game changer I can't be more excited
This is the point where I hit a bit of a wall. But what blows my mind is I do well on production until around the yellow, but here you are with a thousand logistic stations and everything else you need en mass.
I thought that you should proliferate the crystal production? The production rate is the same, so no changes in the number of machines is necessary, just that the number of final products is increased?
@@pocarski Ah... so that's how proliferators scale, I was under the impression that it scales the input rate not the output rate. Thanks for the info! (Though given this, a really just see even less of a reason to use the build speed buff of the proliferators over the extra material buff
I wish they would add a farming drone that would harvest and plant the trees and bushes needed for the Organic Crystals. It would be nice for a different base type other than just plastering the planet flat and building on top of it.
this is like the worst part of the game, after the initial start, when you gotta redo half your setups with logistics (and that was before proliferators) and you barely have any materials to make your needed expansion work and everything comes with massive power consumption relatively to what you can produce
love the series just 1 thinkthat i think could be done better you have 4 logistic tower things right next to eachother collecting the same thing oil so isnt it better to have just one colecting from all 4 sources ?
also, do you make all of your blueprints available somewhere? it would be really helpful to have them as guides or as quick stampdowns for personal games. thank you! (maybe a dropbox or google drive with the bluprint codes?)
Dyson sphere has two parts which generate energy - sails and the girders made with rockets. So launch enough rockets and you can get to white tier without sails.
Don't you need extra research labs producing yellow science? They're set up to consume incoming resources at 2/s, but the Graphite/Titanium/Crystals are coming in proliferated, so more inputs will be produced.
The point is not so much to maximize production rate and more to save resources. The build will produce 2.2 yellow science per second at the non-proliferated raw material cost of ~1.4 yellow science per second and a small amount of proliferator fuel. These are huge savings which help with the 0.5 resource modifier and all for just moving some parts around in an existing build to fit the proliferators. I suspect he will make proliferator builds with better ratios when reaching the mega base stage and using mk3 proliferator fuel.
Omg perfect timing, was playing a bit and was looking if i rush to yellow science to get interplanetary hubs faster to shortcut things. I have to say nilaus got one of best dsp videos, have not found yet someone who does it better 😂
Am I the only one getting triggered at the lack of mining trees? Gives the wood and leaves for the organic crystals, as well as sometimes giving organic crystals...
I just hope that there wont be big mushrooms (PLS) on big concrete balls absolutely everywhere this time, like last time... because that looks ugly and uninteresting :( These smaller ones looks better, ngl
Well since he's going for the no-foundation achievements he won't be paving planets into big concrete balls this playthrough. :D And the inability to pave over holes or ocean should make the factories look a bit less regimented.
@@jonathan_60503 Thats only untill final research... after archievement, i think there will be big white balls everywhere again. I hope, that at least logistic will be done differently this time then just ploping big station in front of every fabricator.
I am very upset that you deleted my comment on your last video..... and your still not purple. Funny wise everytime I start a new game Yellow since is always the pain. but How long did you farm wood to get 10.000?
i love your videos but all of them are mashed together, all the playthrough have random names and a number, you have like 5 different #7. I think you need to unify each playthrough with a consistent name different from the older ones. cheers
I feel like this series is coming out way faster than any other, and I am fully into it.

First time I've caught up on one of your series with my own play. Loving it!! Do you have blueprints for the turbines and rings?
I’ve been following along and am a little behind. Love all your playthroughs. I’ve been watching since you had around 9000 subs.

Really liked that initial organic crystal build. Much more professional than the kludges I’ve been using.

The production rate is increased, because you get more products per craft, but the same amount of crafts per second.

Just wondering: when will you upgrade to tier 3 ploriferators and how expensive would that shit be?
Actually, the titanium crystal is a cuboctahedron, while the d20 is an icosahedron

He has 6000 or so wood and plant matter stockpiled and uses them to craft organic crystals so has obviously been chopping trees.
