Great video! Getting the crowd amped for the season! You said your 35 and shouldn't be hitting those flat landings? You're right! You're going to end up hitting flats, gullies and bumps you don't see and/or can't avoid. Avoid the ones you can. Save your knees, hips and back. Live well and ski long!
Stan, I am loving this series.Even though I have been teaching on this mountain for many a year, it is awesome that you have chosen to go through the guide and remind us just how good these runs are. I look forward to the next of the series.
Could watch these chair runs and side hits all day, fun skiing at its best. My back is spasming watching you flat land 40X in a row I’m going to go lay down.
Been following you FOR EVER on Instagram and am very happy to see these videos!! Love the short film edits and quick runs!! Looking forward to seeing more this season!
What’s up Stan! Quick question, what qst’s are you rocking? Do you have a go to or do you use all the qst’s in the qst Line? I’m looking forward to next vid, thanks 🤙
Great series Stan! Really love learning about all these gems on WB. Just wondering if you could give us a tour of dick-ball alley next? I've heard good things 👍
Great idea Stan. There's a lot of lines in that book so this could be a long series. And I didn't know the book was available in PDF, so now have it on my phone too. Bonus.
Go for it! I wouldn't be in too much of a rush as conditions are marginal at best right now. these videos are from last spring. I might be delayed a bit to keep it going due to the lack of snow. but its still early.
@@stanrey7 Oh I totally through that was this season and was a little confused when I went up last week and basically skied Wishbone over and over on Blackcomb because nothing else was even remotely skiable.
Never really skied around Garbo on pow days for some reason, always done Emerald/Red while waiting for alpine... next low elevation cold storm gotta change that, although looks like you need good coverage for Whistler gondi lift line! What about International Trees?
When the snow gets good at lower elevation Garbo and seppos are all time! It can be a bit of a hassle if you have to break trail to get to the end of the flats at the top but it’s usually well worth it!
@@RT-tn4ry he can change the amount of fisheye in the post production procces, maybe let him know that you would like that and he might take the feedback. thats what comments are for.
@@stanrey7 yea man I totally agree. I have the same camera and I love being able to change the angle and all that jazz. But there’s a sweet spot between too much and not enough. Just find what you like and stick to it. I love your videos btw

You’re not wrong. I’ll try my best but I can’t make any promises.

Glad you enjoy it. It’s cray that after living here for 26 years there is still a few runs I had never skied and yes some of these runs are amazing!
Scrapes sideways like a girl snowboarder in a pink jumpsuit. When skiing you should always give straight .
😂
Excellent job Stan. Incredible skiing bro! Your stamina and confidence are amazing. Subscribed and looking forward to more of you slaying the pow.
Much appreciated! I’ll keep them coming.
burner run, buddy. Ditch!
legs for days. knee's holding up, buddy.
The knee is holding up good! It gets a little sore but that’s to be expected.

must be from back in the day when Whistler had snow.
Ya it was last year, this was definitely not today!😂
Curious how much dedicated leg work you do. Amazing non stop top to bottom.

Glad you like them! Thanks!
Hell yeah! Can't wait for the crystal chair epi. Subbed!
I love Crystal. I’m doing it in order of the book so all the Whistler ones are first so it might be a while until i get to those. Thanks for the sub!

I'm curious too - I'd say it's either the 98 or 92. Looking to demo them this season...loving the vids dude!
Hey! I mainly ski the new QST 106 on resort unless it’s a big pow day then I’ll ski the QST Blank! The next vid is a fun one!
@@stanrey7 Thanks! I just got the new 92, I,m looking forward to ripping them around this season! Next purchase will definitely be the 106.

There are 250 or so and with my busy schedule filming for Blank it will be a long one but I’ll do my best to pump them out through out the season!
You should call the show “The 2 Fifty”
Hei nice riding, where do you have your Mounting Point on those blanks ? :)
These are the QST 106 and i mount them 2cm's ahead of reccomended!
Awesome, dude. Gotta get up there and put my edgie bonus days to good use!

Nothing like the feeling of being in the air!

360 cam is not so fun to watch.
why?
Too much of a fish-eye effect.@@kylegoplin Just sayin.

Having a bit more fisheye gives a better field of vision to the viewer but I can take it down a notch for sure!

I’ve always loved your positive energy and sense of humor in the films and shorts so psyched to find your channel! ⛷️
Cheers! That’s all acting though I’m a super serious guy, all business.😂 Why grow up as it’s so much more fun being a kid at heart!
