- Every month we send out about 15 heifer calves that are about 3.5 months old to our heifer grower. When the truck comes to get them, they bring back 15 pregnant cows. So, the calves that you see us sending on the trailer will be coming back to our farm in a couple years!

Love your videos! It's refreshing for me to see that there is still some young people that know how to work hard! So many young people want everything handed to them on a silver plater and think that they are entitled to it without having to lift a finger! I taught all 4 of my boy's that they need to work hard for what they want and that they will appreciate it much more! Keep up the good work!

No doubt there are plenty of routine maintenance priorities in such a big operation, but, regarding that swinging door: your local JD dealer should be able to give the balky latch a tune-up, and if it's not too late, get some favorite penetrating fluid into those door hinges. Once they bind up, they can get sprung, causing trouble, including latch misfit.

Hi Claudia, great video with lots going on and everyone really busy. From one dairy farmer to another may I kindly suggest that you and the entire crew get Wellington boots on and keep them on at all times, even in bed, this is mandatory for all dairy farmers!

Hey little thing I do I use neos boot covers. I have a pair for inside and a pair for outside. But I do the same hate taking my boots off. So I have a par to slip on and go in the house. And then I have a pair I wear with sneakers. When I wear the sneakers I just take off the neos and keep my sneaks on in the house. But when I do keep the boots on I’ll pull on a pair of covers to in the house. Anyway Neo boot covers. They rock

I’m from Wisconsin and farm n hunt and proud of it! We drink beer n eat cheese n brats.
I ran over a can of black spray paint with my newish red truck. Didn't know that's what it was so I didn't think anything of it. Next day I discovered paint all down the passenger side. It looked artistic because of the way it sprayed off the front tire... But it still had to come off.
I tried to clean it at about 12 to 15 hours and more than 100 miles after it happened, so it was dry.
Quick check of the net suggested WD40. Can and a half later it was good as new.
WD40 as paint remover? Who knew?
Btw, I did a small test patch to make sure it didn't mess with the clear-coat. Like I said. Good as new.
I have followed your channel for awhile, but lately it seems you have enhanced your content. I am by no means a videographer, but I watch your channel and Millennial Farmer as I am from Minnesota....along with a few others. Try using the bottom of the steering wheel to backup trailers, that way the trailer goes in the direction you steer unlike the top of the wheel it goes opposite the way you steer.

How to fix a flat with duals: pump the other tire up to 40 psi, pretend nothing’s wrong and your all good. Works for me lol

I can help you with your boot situation. You don't like to take your boot off when you go inside. I usely take Wal-Mart bags and tie them on my boots. I suffer with IBS and have to go in the house a lot when I'm out work in my garage or barn and outside when it raining and don't want to have to take my boots off every few minutes when I have to go in to use the bathroom.
Can you explain the color coding you all do? Also love the "cow tipping" T! LOL

Its really pathetic when you see comments about people thinking this is animal abuse.. Theres alot of ridiculous people with some strange minds.. Its like what do they think!? Is a cow supposed to live in a house with carpet and lounge on the couch with them and their dog?! Or do they think they should all be in a pretty little meadow with flowers. Because most of the summer our cattle around here actually do run and frolic and play in the pretty little pastures.. lol Its like just because we grew up around it and they dont see where their food comes from that suddenly they know how its supposed to be..🤔
