i guess it's probably because when you created the player, you set defender as his primary position. When i created a striker like this, his positions came up as Attacker/Midfielder/Defender and seems like Jamie The Space has the opposite
I'd love to see a save where there's one perfect striker, one perfect midfielder, one perfect defender and one perfect goalkeeper. Would be interesting to see where they all end up and who's winning the big awards. Maybe have like one be from Gibraltar, one from San Marino, etc

I made myself in FM 16, wasn't perfect everything like Jamie but pretty certain he had 200 PA and ridiculous physicals and attacking attributes. Started in the National League, promoted each year and averaged a goal a game despite stepping up a level each season. I really think a striker would carry a team the most
Great video Jack! Hot take; Playing him as a wingback makes perfect sense, and isn't wasting his talent in the right system. It's a very demanding role attributes wise, and like you said there just aren't that many good ones. Also, pretty annoying to see that PSG is still kinda broken domestically like last year (It's the same outside of this experiment, kinda). A perfect x position would be cool!
Remember GoldenFM did similar on last year’s game and got similar weird decline in certain attributes. Not entirely sure what causes it, probably injury and the game being confused
I noticed that PSG had also signed Haaland when he was looking at the ballon dor winners, but then when he was looking the games after Jamie had moved to PSG there was no sign of Haaland scoring goals. But i did notice Mason Greenwood banging in goals.
Could his Bravery of dropped purely because of the major injury? As obviously with regular players a major injury can make it drop massively Would really love to see Perfect player, stuck as one specific position if it can be done - as a Striker would be crazy!
I think that's what happened but its weird because all his attributes were frozen so theoretically it shouldn't drop. It's probably a case of bravery drops due to injuries ignoring the 'freeze attributes' setting! Can't imagine it's somethign SI test for since this isn't exactly a normal way of playing the game...
@@WorkTheSpace If I had to guess, I would think that the freezing of attributes just stops the natural decline a player would go through over time. I wouldn't effect on or off field events that can impact a player.

I remember back in FM06 i tried to create myself and put all 20s on him with max ability and pot ability. Then after one click of Continue, his stats are changed to all 9s by the game. Damn son. Beyond CM0304, the game has no chills in terms of this

When you make the perfect defender, midfielder and striker you should put them in 3 teams that are roughly the same size in the same league and lock them there. It’d be fun to see them try and carry their team against each other
Giving a player 20 for all attributes means the player exceeds the max allowed CA (200) therefore the game reduces the attributes back to within that maximum. It doesn't matter if you "freeze" the attributes - the max CA is the overriding factor and will reduce attributes regardless. If you want the "perfect" player you need to adjust individual attributes so as not to exceed 200 CA as well as altering all the hidden attributes such as Consistency, Pressure and so on.
Actually JJ it can be done, where a Player can have 20 right across the stats and then freeze it. I have done it. Not only with individual Players but a whole Team, as an experiment...although it does all get rather boring and predictable when playing it. You can also do it with Staff :0)
Is it possible that the reputation that Jamie has in the world has led to an increase in reputation for the country of Gibraltar in the database hence producing actually half decent regens for the national team giving them the opportunity for that rise in world ranking and results like beating Belgium
My guess is he'll retire at 36-37. Would have been interesting to have 4 players of this quality(GK, Defender, Midfielder, Striker) from a small nation pinned down in their starting club for 50+ years, and see if those 4 would be enough to rise the nation and their club to the top.
I've been doing this for the last couple of weeks, though my guy is an outright striker, and just simulating seasons to see what happens. Put him with Bristol City at 16 years old and as of the 2027/28 season he's won the Champions League final with a hat trick against PSG and got 130 England goals. Still haven't done better than 4th in the league though, even if he's winning the Golden Boot every year - except one weird season where Greenwood won it
i am curious. lets say Camavinga fill up his potential, he probably only has 3 20's attribute, couple of 19, and some 18 with 200PA filled. then how that a player with all 20 attribute also counted with 200PA?
did u create this player from scratch or u modify from another player, it seems that you modify from a defender so the AI plays him as defender most of the time
i would really like to see a follow up video but would also like to see the player be from a nation that just need that 1 or 2 amazing player to be fighting for the top. no matter how good he is there is only so much 1 player can do so i hope he will be from a nation like denmark, russia, croatia or teams around that level to see if he could give them that final push for a trophy. But great video nonetheless keep up the good work!
Make a perfect player team! And see how they will do. Make them in lower league in england or other big league, and see how they would do. Maybe make them locked to the team or something for a while. And make everybody from the same national team from Gibraltan or other low end national team. That would be quite cool
I did that, first as Nagoya ( J-League making them all Japanese), then more up market with Farense (Portugal, making them all Portuguese) and it just got ridiculous. It was so one-sided season after season, it just became a total predictable bore. The Team just one everything season after season. League, Cups CL, etc. As a team and individually. It just became a case as to which Player would win what. Player of the Year, Top Goal Scorer, etc. etc. Even when it came to winning World Cups, or European Championships etc. it was no contest.
He would have done better if their was another attribute catargory called 'SELFISHNESS'. Then if he was 20 for that he would be basically tackling his own teammates for the ball even if they are 1 on 1 with the goalie. It would mean he would take on more responsibility and score more goals. As it is the computer just passes to him as they would anyone else although he would position himself better than everyone so that might him get the ball marginally more often

What's odd to me is he has his best performances playing striker and yet he hardly ever plays there. Imagine throwing a CB up top and him scoring a hattrick then deciding to play him CB the next game. 🤦
A video idea maybe try and create 4 players one in goal one defender one midfielder and one forward and give them 20 attribute only for the position they play in and put them in 4 different nations and clubs I commented this before I watched the video and then in the video you said you might make such a video😂😂

I lived in Gibraltar for some time. It’s crazy - they have 2 leagues in that tiny space. I’ve seen the place where Manchester’s ‘clubhouse’ is

One of the old FM games I made a new player called Clark Kent who was essentially this.
My guess is he'll retire at 36-37.

I think having the player the best in every position divides the potential. Next time focus it on one position.

He had a “major” injury at PSG in the 27/28 season and was out for 2 months. I think that’s why his bravery dropped down to 19

You have to freeze the attributes as a player cannot normally have 20 in everything, it’s an option when using the official in game editor

When editing the player you can normally click freeze attributes
