"Best" mouse is really hard to label because everyone has a different hand size and grip style. If you have to buy a mouse right this second I wouldn't recommend the Sora V2 because it's waaaay to early to tell how it will hold up and I've only had it for 24 hours. If you can wait a few weeks for more reviews from me or others, than we can give you a better idea if it'd be a good choice. Currently tho, the Sora V2 has some of the best features in the competitive gaming mouse world and the lowest weight currently without holes. So it's a great choice on paper, but things can change over time. The GPX 1 or GPX 2 are very safe choices because the shape of them (they're both the same) works for almost everyone which is one of the reasons why it's such a popular mouse. You can't really go wrong with them and if you're tight on money the GPX 1 is not a bad way to go at all. What's your hand size and grip style? That info can really help make a better decision too.

The Sora V2 could work well for you then since this is a smaller mouse and designed for claw grip. Personally I don't like palm gripping the Sora V2 tho. If you're hand size is similar to mine or smaller and claw grip, the Sora V2 is a great choice and is by far the lightest weight mouse out of all the ones you're considering. I'd avoid anything from Pulsar as they've been having quality control issues and I just returned a Pulsar mouse due to defects. I don't have any of the Lamzu Atlantis series but I've heard nothing but good things about them. And I LOVE my GPX2 and it has one of the safest shapes of all time that works for almost everyone so that'd also be a great choice. The skates would come down to personal choice. Corner skates are lighter weight by .5g and less surface to surface contact with the mouse pad. The result is more speed, a smoother and faster glide. Possibly better for tracking for games such as Apex, Overwatch, and Warzone. Wider skates are pretty much the opposite, slightly more contact with the mousepad and a tiny bit heavier. Better for control which helps flicks and stopping on a dime. Possibly better for games like Counter Strike or Valorant. That being said, the difference will be extremely minimally since the change in weight/surface contact is so tiny and your in-game performance may not change at all between the two. However, changing skates to aftermarket skates can have a much bigger impact if your looking for specific performance tweaks.

Currently waiting on Zowie U2, but have come from a long list of GPX 1, GPX 2, Model O W, etc. I have a relaxed claw/palm grip style (Shroud's exact grip he describes on video). Does this mouse feel significantly shorter front to back compared to the GPX series? Also, how well does Ninjutso mice hold up over time? Most mice start to fail under 1 year including Logitech...
Sora V2 is shorter for sure. If using the longest point of the Sora V2, it ends exactly at the very end of the top skate of the GPX. But the Sora's front is also angled similar to the GPX where the USB-C port is so that longest point overhangs in front a bit just like the GPX. I can't speak for the longevity of Ninjutso as this is my first mouse from them so I'm hoping for the best. Hope this helps!
Yep. Stuck at 1000 Hz both wired and wireless. I even tried other cables that work above 1000 Hz from other mice but the Sora V2 won't go above 2000 Hz. I'd guess that they have it locked until you buy the separate dongle.

The included dongle is only 1k Hz max. The 8k Hz dongle has to be purchased separately and isn't even released yet. That one can go to 2k, 4k, or 8k Hz.
I've only owned the normal sized X2H so I can't give the best answer unfortunately but they are both smaller mice that are designed for claw grip. Sorry I couldn't help more!

The cable that it comes with is 1000 Hz max. I've read some people talking about a separate cable being needed but IDK if that's true or the details on it at this time.
The Sora V2 has improvements such as less weight and the ability to go up to 8k Hz so it's supposed to be better, but I don't own the Sora 4k myself so I unfortantely can't do a direct comparison. I'll mention tho that I did buy the Sora V2 because I've seen and read so many good things about the Sora V1 and Sora 4k. So far, I'm VERY happy with the Sora V2.
would you say that sora v2 is better than the atlantis mini 4k? cuz im confused which one to buy 😅 btw my hand size is 16 x 8.5 and my grip is fingertip ( my main is atantis mini and im trying to upgrade ) or what mouse do u recommend ?
I don't have the Atlantis Mini so I couldn't properly judge. And it's also too early to give fair judgment on the Sora V2. I'll say, I've ALWAYS heard good things about the Atlantis (mini and full sizes), so if you need something right away it could work well for you. The Sora V2 still isn't even available for a few more weeks for new orders but if you're will to wait, I'll more reviews coming sometime down the road.
It's advertised at 80 hours, but there's performance settings that will lower that. I've done battery test in the past and might do one for this mouse depending on if people want to see that.

Is the dongle limited to 1khz or can you use 2k or 4k as well?
The included dongle is only 1k Hz max. The 8k Hz dongle has to be purchased separately and isn't even released yet. That one can go to 2k, 4k, or 8k Hz.
Thanks man ! Just got the x2h red edition but gonna get this too now
Nice! I almost got the red x2h and am kinda sad I didn't now lol.
@@hawkittyhawk yes loving it, the coating is superb and it seems pulsar fixed the sticky click issue with this batch
That's great to hear!@@andrewsmith9241
I might be wrong but i think of it as Nin like ninkumpoop so Nin-Jut-so Ninjutso
I think you're right. I keep saying Nin-Jut-SU for some reason and can't stop lol!
Is it possible to go at a higher polling rate (1000hz+) using the USB C cable?
Nope, just tried it and it's still at 1000 Hz.
wait, if this is the lightest mouse without holes, what if they made holes? it would be around 33g ye???
or more like 36g

@@montwonogi0000👀👀👀
Have you tried any Vaxee mice, there clicks are better than the gpx
I have not but I've heard good things and they're on my list for later down the road.
Is this practically the x2h mini but better??
I've only owned the normal sized X2H so I can't give the best answer unfortunately but they are both smaller mice that are designed for claw grip. Sorry I couldn't help more!
@@hawkittyhawk No worries! I sincerely appreciate the review you've made!
Thanks! @@tzumi30
How similar to the sensei ten would you say this is? It does look vaguely similar? Looking at the new waizowl at the moment but this might be a contender
Asking for someone with a claw grip haha
@@reeceh3652I honestly don't know much about the sensei ten so I couldn't give reliable feedback comparing the two, however, it is something that is on my radar that I'd be curious to try out.
Sorry I couldn't help more!
my hands are 18 x 9.5 cm and im using claw grip, would you recommend this mouse if no other issues come up? or is there anything better?
If no other issues come up, yes!
It's been great and the light weight has been really good for not causing fatigue in the hand. No major complaints so far.
For 17.5 x 10 which mouse do you recommend the sora v2, lamzu atlantis mini, x2 or the op1 8k
Btw my grip is carpal stabilised claw
Don't buy Pulsar right now, they're having QC issues: th-cam.com/video/pLo62gXGdiw/w-d-xo.html
It's still too early to tell how good this Sora V2 will be with time.
Atlantis Mini or OP1 8k would be my recommendation. Hope this helps!

@@hawkittyhawkbut you think is worth waiting on the sora or I should buy other mice
@@bloody4128 👍👍
If you're not in a rush, wait. This mouse, so far, has been nuts and if you claw grip and don't like holes, BUT want the lightest weight possible, this mouse fits that bill. @@bloody4128
Would weight modding this bring it down to like 30g
I can see that happening.
Dot skates, smaller battery, punch holes everywhere. BeardedBob is gonna go nuts I'm sure!
Do you think this would work for relaxed claw grip with 17.5x10 hands?
When could we purchase the 8K dongle ?
We have no info from Ninjutso at this time as they're still on holiday for Chinese New Years for another week or so.
I need to know too!
Wired 8K too? XLAT Wired and wireless?
The cable that it comes with is 1000 Hz max. I've read some people talking about a separate cable being needed but IDK if that's true or the details on it at this time.
certainly thinking about getting one of these, specs of 150euro (in eu) mouse for 90 euro and a good shape
I have the og sora, on my scale it weighs 46 grams
That's still better than 99% of all mice out there!
Should I get this or the op1 8k?
So is the Sora 4k better or the V2?
Welp. Gotta buy this shit now.. fuck
🤣
This vs G Wolves HTX??????
I don't have the HTX so I couldn't give a good comparison unfortunately. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
how long does the battery last?
It's advertised at 80 hours, but there's performance settings that will lower that.
I've done battery test in the past and might do one for this mouse depending on if people want to see that.
Omg i neeed one so bad
Would you recommend this mouse for pincer grip, 18.5x9.5cm hands?
Yep! This should be a good fit for you!
