I have hino 300 and the turbo actuator lost communication. It was replaced, still not working. Do I need to re program or re set for the communication with the ecu to start.
I've never used the candor scanner. It's best to have the hino program to properly diagnose. Possible cause: defective def pump, defective def injector, low def quantity/quality, open circuit, bad pcm. Most likely a bad def injector, pump, def.
Yes, dx2. What is the fault code on the engine? With an SCR fault it can be anything, NoX sensor, Def injector, Def fluid, Def level/temperature/quality, ect. Give me the fault code and may be able to advise you better.
i have a north america 268 series and it has a p204f and a p20bd malfunction of the DEF electric heater 1 (open load/low) any ideas how to trouble shoot this issue.
The DEF hose has heater built in. possibly one of them is broken, you can inspect the hose, or fuse related to that heater. Code 204f Estimated failure factors • DEF: Improper reductant • Malfunction of NOx sensor • Malfunction of air flow sensor • Malfunction of exhaust gus temperature sensor (SCR inlet)
@@radieseltech6417 yep i checked the def lines with a multimeter to check continuity. And it was the one from the top one which is heater line one. Replaced the line cleared the urea related memory and did a regen to confirm repairs.

It can be turbo, dpf, egr, etc. Also check your brake switch, it can be out of calibration ( if brake light remains on when you're not pressing the pedal, it need adjusting). Do you have codes on the truck?
thanks for the video. I have the same problem, my truck had communication problems with the SCR and I corrected the problem but it continues in flaccid mode and the SCR light does not turn off. we have tried several scanners and nothing. Please tell me what version of sofwear DX II do you have?

The code is in the scr module, not the engine ecn module. You need to connect to the scr module to get the codes

Did you have to use Hino software to reset the light or is there an aftermarket brand that will work ?
I don't know of any aftermarket scan tool that will work.

Nexiq USB link 2, just Google it. It covers most manufacturers once you have the software.

There may be some aftermarket software you can use, but I only use the hibo dx2 software so I can't recommend any other.

My 2020 hino 155 keeps going into turtle mode. Keep replacing def injector and sensor. Any idea how to stop this?
Did you scan for codes? Hino can go into limp mode if the brake switch is out of calibration, located at the brake pedal.

No. DOT plan to start checking trucks on the road for delete device in the next couple of years. Plus the air is much cleaner with the filter on.
