Very nicely done. Great narration and background music.

I want to know what kind of AZ mount you are using. I can't find one that will fit in my Orion tripod. So I think I'm stuck getting the 'package' with SV480. It contains a tripod with some sort of apparatus to move the scope around. Hopefully it will be adequate.

Maybe you can try SKYWATCHER AZ5, this steel stand has strong load-bearing capacity

Yes definedly. It can be used for visual and, astrophotography. I have seen people take good pictures of deep space with it. But you need a dslr or astro camera.

Hi. Very nice video ! Can this SV48P also be used directly for local (earth) observation (no upside down viewing ?) Thank you.

Nice comparisons, but you live in the land of the Takahashi telescope.

I just have acquired one of these sv48p and was just wondering if your scope has slop in the focuser and creeps down. Any good way to adjust it?

I saw on another video (Ed Ting's review) that's a common problem in the SV48P when shipped, but it can be nicely resolved by adjusting the three pairs of hex screws surrounding the focuser. Apparently you have to fiddle with it a bet and do it by feel. If you get them too tight, the focuser won't move at all. Too loose makes it wobbly. I guess you want them kinda tight to put some friction on the tube, but not enough to lock it in place. Ed called it a "dark art" in his video.
