Great video, can you recommend anyone who could install this in the Bedfordshire area. There's no way I'd be able to do it 😅
@@ChrisPeacock-rz6kq There a Facebook page Vauxterations that does all kinds of upgrades for Vauxhalls,but is too far away from Bedfordshire area.You should give a try to install it yourself,everything is plug and play.Try to remove the central console first,if you manage to do that,you will be able to do the rest.I have a video how to remove the factory stereo,check it out and see if you can remove it.

I think you have the option of add a front dash camera too.
Had a quick question, my indicators no longer make any sounds after installing, do you know how to fix this?
You should have received a small round speaker that needs to be connected too,i didn't have it in the video here.
Did you have to disconnect the battery before removing the A pillar for the GPS? Will the air bag deploy with the battery connected?
I didn't disconnect the battery because i didn't fully removed the A pillar to put the GPS antenna,just enough to slide de antenna.Might go off if you have the battery connected and want to fully remove the A pillar.

At the moment,the stereo developed a software fault and is not working.I might change it to a different model and better spec,will see.
I have the USA version of this car (2019 Buick Cascada). I am looking to do this replacement task so i can get a full screen from my backup camera.. General Moters decided to only give a 3" x 3" screen to look at for a backup view... Thanks for the videos.. Hope this process is similar to the USA version.. I think it will be

Cascada is different model, this is Astra. But centre console is the same, yes.

How do you engage sport mode or eco mode since the button for it is no longer there?
My car didn't had Sport or Eco buton,but you can find stereos that have Eco button or some people took the Eco or Sport button from the and put it on the blank button on the new stereo.
is the camrea the original one from the car ?
No,the car had no reverse camera,was an aftermarket camera that came with the stereo.

Should fit,just make sure you order the right fascia if your car came with ECO or/and VXR button.

@@adalbertkote2861 I got it from Aliexpress,pay only with PayPal to be covered if you don't receive it or have problems with it.Try and get higher Ram version,atleast 4GB,ideal 6GB.You can search on Facebook Astra J Tesla Unit group,you can ask there for recomendations.

Should be everywhere same language,maybe has different language settings for that display.

Hello, I am curious, How much would you charge to install, please? If you do jobs like this.
I do these kind of jobs just on my car,is a hobby,i'm not doing this for a living.Is not very hard to do it yourself,everything is plug and play,i have a video how to remove the old radio too,all is pretty straightforward.If you want to pay someone,i've seen that Vauxterations on Facebook does all kinds of retrofits on Vauxhall cars,you should message him,maybe is in your area.

One question: how do you turn on/off airbag, when changing it?
You need to disconnect the battery,wait for 1 hour and the airbag will not go off if has no power.Remember not to start the car or put ignition on without the airbag on the car,you will get airbag error.
But I already have a back up camera
You can connect that camera or buy a different camera.
