@Easily Amused yes some people still eat them large but most don't due to mercury being out there, most ppl catch those big boys an throw them back, I've seen cat fish bigger than humans come to the top of water near Lake Murray Dam in Columbia, South Carolina pretty scary mane

When fishing for big fish on piers you can "tie" down your pole with a quick release knot. I would suggest you looking at some videos so you don't lose a nice pole. Or just even a simple rope with a snap at both ends will also work. Simple effective and light weight
Thanks for today, it made me feel good that you came in. I hate I didn’t put a fish in the boat while you were there. I did catch 1 live though. Keep up the great work you do for the Catfish world.🇺🇸
It was good talking with you for a little bit. I'm looking forward to cooler weather. The start to the Fall season has been very hot. It seems like the catfish are still in summer mode.

@ItzMikeOmg I beg to differ, I've eaten several that were given to me and they tasted great. I baked them with some seasoned salt and corn meal breading and my family loved it. Tasted just as good as a 5 pounder.

Chickamauga has some amazing Blue Catfish. I caught one last year that was 55 maybe pushing 60lbs. Just look up “Levi Saffles WBIR catfish” and you will find it. Good luck guys and tights lines
Hey joe we cruised past you on the way in to south chick around noon this day. Was going to stop and say hey on the way out, but we got into a bunch of em back there. Caught a beautiful 20lb blue and a bunch of channels around 3-5 lbs. Knew you must have slayed them!
Awesome video. You need to file a rounded notch on the lip of your bucket, so your rod can rest a bit more securely. Part of me wishes we had blues and flatheads up here in Canada.
Great film ! I really enjoy the trembling water and the struggling fish. Most river are polluted and the fishes caught are not edible. Hope this creek is not so !
Wow just watched this video and I gotta say that was awesome.. I just subscribed to ur channel.. im from San Antonio TX and we have been getting slammed with rain..I have been fishing the flooded rivers and creeks and have been pulling out lots of blues and flatheads..still looking for them 30lb’er.. .
Nice video! I used to get laughed at all the time growing up fishing with heavy gear in small creeks till i popped a 38 lb flat head and backed it up a week later with a 30 lb one when i was 15. Creeks hold big fish and dont get alot of pressure.
The best fishing I do is in feeder creeks when they are up from rain.. I've found the best around here is when the water is on the rise and 3/4 to full bank about to flood.. non stop action my friend.. anything you throw they eat..
