I'd contest your estimate, partner, that cat, at 10:22, is an easy 45 pounder, EASY! 45 pounder. Enjoying your show, Would love to be there with you and pulling them in....on a "Catch & Release" only, those big heifers can stock a river in less than 6 months, each one of them. Thank's for sharing. BTW, you got a 'like', sub, and a click on the bell, bring more big lunkers in for us! lol.

When fishing for big fish on piers you can "tie" down your pole with a quick release knot. I would suggest you looking at some videos so you don't lose a nice pole. Or just even a simple rope with a snap at both ends will also work. Simple effective and light weight

Well some fisherman want there to actually be fish in the water and some people don’t like eating big fish because that’s not what they believe in
All I am asking is don’t be that person who eats every fish they catch it ruins the sport !!!

Hey joe we cruised past you on the way in to south chick around noon this day. Was going to stop and say hey on the way out, but we got into a bunch of em back there. Caught a beautiful 20lb blue and a bunch of channels around 3-5 lbs. Knew you must have slayed them!

Nice video! I used to get laughed at all the time growing up fishing with heavy gear in small creeks till i popped a 38 lb flat head and backed it up a week later with a 30 lb one when i was 15. Creeks hold big fish and dont get alot of pressure.

The best fishing I do is in feeder creeks when they are up from rain.. I've found the best around here is when the water is on the rise and 3/4 to full bank about to flood.. non stop action my friend.. anything you throw they eat..

    Hey Joe
In my experience you are better off landing big fish like this with the grippers. Sometimes the net can injure their pectoral fins if they roll. Great fishing by the way. Love to let them go and watch them swim away.

I live in Soddy Daisy and know exactly where you are fishing. If you know where Soddy Creek is where it dumps into the river make hard left and run about 2 miles you'll hit the cliffs. Huge blue cats along there. 40 50 pounders using jugs. Also Suck Creek has some biggins also.

Can I suggest a tether on your poles.
The one on the bucket could be gone in an instant!
Ya know there is a reason for the wrist strap on the grippers.

The lanyard was lose on my wrist. I should have tightened it. That was a close call with losing those grippers.
