I think more hair channels should talk about scalp care. It’s the number one thing I struggle with.
I think my hair loss is related to thyroid, but who knows for sure? I've been using The Ordinary's hair peptide serum & I think I'm seeing improvement. Time will tell. Don't laugh, but I put my led face mask on my head to avoid buying another one for my head 😊
I have used the Ordinary Hair serum and the Eye Lash/Eye Brow serum for about 6/mo. Both products work pretty good. My eyebrows are finally recovering from the early 2000's and I have a lot of baby hair, but my hair isn't getting thicker.
You can go to your primary physician and request your thyroid be tested. Its just blood work. I just did this.
@@sunflowerbaby1853 Yes, I have & I'm on meds for it 😊. But my doc thinks it's probably the female version of male pattern baldness. 😕
If it works and isn't causing harm then why not?! lol
I have experienced female pattern hair loss, and my nutritionist had me start drinking spearmint tea 1-2 times every day. Not only did it help my hair loss, but it greatly improved my acne issues that I had struggled with for years! Plus, it's delicious and can be enjoyed hot or cold! I use an organic loose leaf spearmint tea from a local company. But you can use spearmint straight from the plant!
Stress!!! It’s bigger of a factor than ppl think! I started Lexapro in February and my hair has had about half of my hair shed on wash day! I was shocked at how much stress increased my hair loss.
I've lost quite a bit of hair since I started going through menopause. Yay me 😂 . I have started to look into some stuff and things. Thanks for the video!
Ugh!!! Glad this was helpful!
I also really love Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer for Fine Hair as another heat protection option.
I do too! Not your mothers also has a 10 in one hair perfector that is similar!
The Kerotin shampoo helped my mom so much. I got it for her after the first video you talked about your mom using it and she's been loving it ever since! ❤ My favorite combo is the Neutrogena Therapy Scalp Build Up Shampoo, then 107's Microbiome Shampoo, condition, and then massage in Cult + King Tonik before styling. It's an amazing combination for my scalp health.
Exercise is really a two-fer. It not only improves circulation, but it also decreases stress. I love this video. I just bought my husband a Hairmax device to help with his thinning hair for Christmas. You gave me some great ideas for go along gifts. Love your channel!
Yes it is! And glad to help! Thank you!
I learned some things to implement to help. Thanks so much.
I use Mane Club - One Hit Wonder. It's a leave in and heat protectant. Curly girl safe!! And I adore the smell!!
Ohhh... Love that its dual purpose as well!
Oh my gosh did I have insane hair loss following Ko-vid this year in April, but it eventually stopped! Thank God! A hair dresser I went to refused to color treat my hair bc she thought I had severe hair damage bc so much was falling out during shampooing, and I let her know it was bc I had an illness so bad that it put my body through stress.
Oh wow!!! That's crazy that she said that! So glad it stopped for you!
Aveda botanical strengthening leave in treatment I love as a leave in conditioner that has heat protectant up to 450° F. Also briogeo has two creams that protects up to 450°
Thank you for the suggestions! Love that they are dual purpose
I used to really like Curlsmith, but I've noticed lately that every new product I try smells very chemical. I just tried their oil-in-cream leave-in, and I gave it a fighting chance in case I just didn't like the change to my routine, the whole tester bottle over three or four wash days, but I just never got used to the scent and in fact liked it less the more I used it. Plus my hair didn't like it, it felt oily and dirty on day 2 when I usually go 7 days between washes (with a cowash on day 3-4). All this to say, I'll stick with my mostly Innersense lineup.
I'm currently using the Curlsmith Scalp Stimulating Booster and I'm hoping to see some good results ❤️ Doing the CGM for the last month, I feel like I'm seeing less shedding and breakage 🎉❤
I had COVID in early May and I did have hair loss from that. I'm hoping that it's going to grow back healthier than ever 😊
I've been using that Curlsmith scalp booster for a couple of months now. Unlike every other scalp treatment I've tried, it's ridiculously easy to use, and doesn't make my sensitive skin itch (major bonus). My hair seems stronger since I started using this treatment, I hope you see similar great results!
Thanks for this video! I am on a hormone blocker after after breast cancer. A side effect can be hair loss. I am taking vitamins. This will add more products to my arsenal !
Glad this helps!!! Hugs and prayers!
Did you ever check out divi?? There is a shampoo, conditioner
And hair scalp serum
Wow, this is a great video Courtney! Thank you for making it! I feel like you gave a very comprehensive, science-based approach to this. I'm going to be coming back to this!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!🥰
What do you think about blow dryers with red light. I am not sure once you put a diffuser on, that the red light can reach the hair or scalp.
These are some great tips that I will definitely be incorporating into my routine. I love your eye makeup look
Awe, thank you!
