Newcastle don't need him at all. And he offers poor value for money when compared to other options on the market. I'm hoping Newcastle are trying to instigate a bidding war and Liverpool get involved. If they spunk 60+m on Guehi they won't be able to afford Gordon.
Love how he says Guehi may attract the attention of bigger clubs, then name drops Spurs 😅😂. Newcastle are a much bigger club than Spurs, thats not even a controversial statement.
Im from Newcastle and we are a tiny club compared to Spurs. I think people up here have a perception that we’re big because there’s no other big clubs in the area. Worldwide I think Spurs if probably about 5 times bigger. Newcastle fans really need to realise how big the big 6 are and that’s why they get away with their shananigans, we havnt won anything in best part of 100 years 😅
@@alexanderhowcroft8779So because the Top 6 are much bigger than Newcastle, there is no real point in signing Guehi? Right okay then, guess by that logic, you should get Steve Bruce back and 17th should be the aim again right? What a melt 🤣
@@alexanderhowcroft8779 I hate these discussions. But, even though I'd say Spurs are a bigger club, they really don't have a large overseas following outside of South Korea. I've been all over the world and now live overseas, and I've encountered notably more NUFC, WHUFC, and AVFC supporters on my travels. Where I live, NUFC is a pretty well followed club.
It’s probably just bias on my part but I don’t think it’ll end up in a bidding war guehi is friends with Gordon he wants the move and has already stated he admires stadium and fans there’s three reasons then there’s we’ve got a good project we are on the way up I like guehi and I want him at the toon so hopefully it’ll be a easy deal to get done
For me, from a buying club perspective, I think there is better value on the market. I'd put Guehi on a par with Lacroix, and maybe slightly ahead of Chalobah. I'd say Todibo, and Thiaw are ahead of all of them. All of these players are available, are bigger and stronger than Guehi, and their current valuations lie between 25 and 35m. I can't see why anyone would buy Guehi ahead of any of these players. Okay, Guehi is a known quantity in that he's done it in the league and is a sound lad, a good addition to the dressing room. But that isn't to say the others wouldn't be and even still, for me that wouldn't justify the leap in price tag that he represents. Signing one of the others gives you the ability to go out and buy another squad player, or to go all out in another position. For me, NUFC should be spending this kind of money on an Almiron upgrade before anything. It is a far more pressing matter. As is a replacement for perma-crock Wilson. And if we're going to get a centre back, it should represent better value. Thiaw for example is 2 years younger than Guehi, has Champions League experience, is more powerful, can play at right back (important if Trippier is to leave), and is around half the price. Guehi doesn't even offer an upgrade on Schar, other than in age.
Just no loyalty in football. Palace take Guehi from Chelsea (if he stayed who knows where he’d be now), made him an England starting international and now when the club are on the prospect of a very strong season he wants out. That nasty little attitude won’t see him go far. At Least Olise went about leaving the right way
That loyalty goes both ways, as soon as a club is done with you or the fans turn on you, they force you out. I honestly don’t blame them, they treat all aspects of football as a business, why shouldn’t the players. I’m a big Antony Gordon fan, but if he wants to go to Liverpool I would not hold it against him. The only team I can’t handle a Newcastle player leaving for is Manchester United unless it’s someone that would make them worse!
You sound very bitter to be honest, guehi hasn't come out and said he wants out, I believe he has said in private that he would be open to the move if both clubs can agree a deal, that type of money for crystal palace would be welcome because if they invest wisely then it's 3 good players to develop a squad.
Poor Ol' Crooky is just bitter his team have spunked the asking price for Guehi on a crocked teenager who wanted to go to Madrid
Facts, you can tell he’s salty 🤣
I hope he goes to Newcastle. They need him, and Guehi can get them back top four.
Good news for chelsea 25% sell on fee 😂 hope his transfer fee reach 70-80£

Guehi would be unreal at Newcastle. Pointless him going to Liverpool to sit on the bench.

Bigger in what sense?

Spurs have VdV, Romero and Dragusin. They need a striker, not spending huge amounts of money on a CB.
You deaf he said yous are keeping tabs on eze not guehi

If Newcastle get him then they're basically getting a top quality player in every window, in every position bit by bit.
Well then he's clueless. If he thinks spurs are spending massive money on a player they don't need they've only signed Gray.
For me, from a buying club perspective, I think there is better value on the market.

If you don't sign . You are bannished to the reserves. absolutely disgusting . Chelsea what a club 😂
Liverpool won't spend that much money
I'm sure city got Alvarez for 10m and can sell him for 70m or so, that club knows how to make money
No Palace fan was oblivious to him leaving this Summer. In fact his performance in the Euros has meant we'll get more money for him
No way crystal palace asking £60million for a defender. Their owner must b drunk 😂
