Love the way you handled verticality in some of the builds and house 4 feels like the coolest use of it for sure. Your inn and Minutemen buildings deserve shout outs too for it imo.

My favorite is the train car roof, but the curved roof (building 4) is a very close second.

@@R..L0002Amen, and his settlements are never too loud like so many I see on YT, where people have just TOO MUCH stuff going on, which ends up muddying everything.
Sometimes less is more, and youre right, more realistic to what the story is.
Placing all of the clutter alone must have taken forever, and been the source of more than a few headaches. Props.
I used to love getting baked and decorating for hours when I played this years ago. Unfortunately, mine were a lil redundant from lack of options and creativity.

@@harryseaward3190Yeah I went through a vanilla play through first just to see achievements as I’ve always enjoyed many of the Bethesda achievements names and how they are grindy but just where it feels rewarding enough to hunt them down. Anyways, computer shat on me before I could finish so went about grabbing the update on the ps5 and now here I am base game with like another 80 hours in. I didnt fast travel one single time till I gotten further in the story where you have access to institute tech. Just felt fitting to finally allow myself to teleport around in a role playing perspective.
I will say, base game is great by itself, but when it comes to base building, I feel Bethesda really dropped the ball. Maybe it’s just since I came from no man’s sky since launch so building bases wherever and finding ways to exploit the parameters given is quite easy to bypass. You’d think Bethesda would have had a better system at launch. It’s a bit of a pro and con wrapped into one. Modders will always make these games far better, but it sucks we have to settle for half assed production on release only for most QoL improvements, and even additional content to be rolled out by other fellow gamers.
Oh man, apologies for the rambles. Either way, I’ve greatly enjoyed FO4 and I’m shocked I’ve slept on it all these years after having loved 1-3. NV play through coming next 👌
Getting rid of the garbage with mods is actually way worse for your game than you'd expect. It totally breaks precombines and bricks performance. playing vanilla is still pointless, but don't use scrap and clutter clean up mods.@@harryseaward3190

Nice work on this build. Great junk decoration as well. Love all the crap just lying around everywhere and even on the floor. Like you said this is the wasteland. It's not supposed to be spotless.

I've got back into Fallout 4 due to the next gen update. When I previously played Fallout 4 all those years back, I was never motivated or had the creativity left to get started with any of the settlement building but honestly discovering your channel only recently and watching these vids you've been putting out has sparked my head with a bunch of ideas. I have to say thank you for sharing your creativity with us all and passing it on! Cheers mate 👍
If you use the pillar glitch and rug glitch, there is no reason not to use: "Place anywhere" and "Scrap that settlement". At least, cause your doing it anyway. Great build, by the way.

Always respect people who get creative with their builds. I'm always about utility: I play on survival, and create a house at the entrance of town with a bed, a water fountain, a container for quick food access, and all the crafting stations. Then I set up beds in another house for the settlers, do all the farm and defense necessary to make them happy, and move on to the next settlement. I can get bogged down in making decisions, and like a lot of building games, extra items means lag (and you can see it when you tour the first house). Lag instantly bums me out, and takes me out of the immersion.

Easily one of the top Sanctuary builds! I love how everything has it's purpose in this.
In all of my Sanctuary builds, I always turn the extra houses into personalized shops, the Sole Survivor's home is rebuilt to living conditions, and the house across the street is Preston and crew's shared home. The ruined homes are scrapped and turned into original custom ideas that i create from my imaginitive mind. Each different from the last playthrough.
The idea of keeping the ruined homes and repurposing 'em is a very interesting idea i will try out next time.

as somebody who uses the Place Anywhere mod, it is astounding to me that you did all of this (and all of your other builds) in vanilla!

Your settlements are always so creative and cool looking. I love how youre smart enough to understand the game, and its story, and keep things rustic, as they should be after a nuclear fallout.
Please do this with some of the other settlements, I feel like it would be so cool to see what you do with some of the more destroyed settlements.

Your channel got me into settlement building in fallout 4. I had no idea where to start and your build series really helped me get the ball rolling, now I spend more time building than playing the game! (Currently working on an industrial waterfront in sanctuary)

Your video just popped up on my feed and I watched. I love the creativity you have here. The numbers on the walls the shooting range how you handled the bar and the destroyed houses. Super innovative. Personally tho not a fan of the clipping double beds. How just about every building has fishing stuff on them like especially your arena it doesn’t make sense cuz it’s for fighting not fishing. Also neon signs on just about every building kinda takes me out too. But all in all amazing build my favorite things are the small details and damn did you hit every box on that! Totally appreciate too how much time you put into it and that you did it unmodded is an endeavor on its own! Bravo!
I like how you use up empty space with subtle details and how you added light fixtures onto some of the shop windows, it's the little things

Good idea about a minutemen building. I like the idea of potentially turning Sanctuary (or another central settlement) into a neutral zone and you kit out a house with different faction stuff. I.e. See BoS outfitted villagers walking around with Minutemen in a neutral zone could add to that role play flavour.

Really nice rebuild I like the walls combining with each of the houses nice touch that makes sense as a material saving thing someone would do in the wasteland.

Only discovered your channel a few days ago & have binge watched several of your Sanctuary build videos, now seeing the final build. amazing. I've been a fan of F4 since it released & have thousands of hours of play, like many just reinstalled after the TV series & have to say that your builds are so lore friendly & look amazing. half things you did with the glitches etc I would never have thought of. time for a fresh game me thinks lol even if it is just to build :)
Reminds me of my last sanctuary hills build. I did a lot of cleaning up tho in terms of junk and scraggy looking bushes, and cleared the broken houses to use the foundations for new buildings

Mind blowingly good. I always keep everything in Sanctuary for this exact build idea in mind. Made a new save, my save to beat all saves, the final one..... I bloody deleted all the stuff in Sanctuary didn't I 😂

Nice to have so many vanilla decorations that you don;t need modded decorations in a game like this. I love that you use a lot of clutter in the houses, and yet not so much that it feels cluttered. Just enough decorations to make it look lived in. That is very nice mate. Not a big fan of the boxy roofs you made, but to each his own i guess. The hotel also seems way too small, with only 2 rooms for rent. Could have used more rooms. But the settler homes and shops look very nice and lived in.

Love the build dude been watching this video to do my own sanctuary and have borrowed a lot of ideas. Its already coming out really well instead of Sanctuary Bar i got Sheffield and Drinking buddy so i kinda figured they would become friends since Sheffield gives up drinking. So i decided to make the Bar Sheffy and Buddys Soda Shoppe
I really like the armoury, the Minuteman centre and the arena. Though I don’t like leaving the leaves etc because it doesn’t seem reasonable that people would live like that,
i do get the idea of using original furniture .

I think it's cool how you keep all the original stuff. Although, I do wonder what it would look like if you did all the decorating yourself and made it look pristine. Really does look like a dev built settlement well done.
The settler limit is 10 + Your Charisma, including modifiers from clothing and chems and alcohol. You can get 30+ settlers in a settlement even without console commands.
It's easiest to populate your settlements by using one as a sort of recruitment center. Max out your Charisma buffs and then start sending settlers from the recruitment center to the desired settlement.
Enjoyed watching you go from 5k suns to 10k here lately. I’ve used several builds of yours already!

Very nice! I've never thought about saving structures, I scraped anything and everything and built a casino/hotel and a museum to display all my unique weapons and armor.
