Stay away from processed food, fast food, restaurant food and adulterated cooking oils.

The ratio is definitely very important especially with regard to fitness. After a few years of development, I have landed on my baseline staples on the daily. All fatty foods in my diet include hemp seeds, whole eggs, almonds, salmon, sardines, chicken, minimal beef, and a very small amount of olive or avocado oil (6-9 grams/day in spray form). Tracking using the chronometer gold app shows my omega 3 to omega 6 ratio to be between a 2 and 6 on the regular, depending on whether I ate salmon or chicken that day. The rest of my diet is predominantly whole foods with a small amount of bread, processed foods like protein bars, and some sweeteners (to replace refined sugar) and diet pop. I have been strength training and doing cardio, never been healthier. I'm holding some significant lean mass naturally at 5 foot 8 inches and 157 pounds, about 15% body fat, and looking to maintain or slightly improve body composition. Digestion, sleep, stress levels, thinking, its all working like clockwork, its amazing. My skin and hair have also improved significantly. Highly recommended.

As a post covid disabled person I can't handle the high omega 6 diet anymore. It renders me totally useless .

In US beef and butter, the n6-to-n3 ratio is ~10. Very inflammatory.

I am working with Omega 3. We offer a blodtest. The results are realy frigtheningly low ratios of omega3 for 95% of the people we have tested.
