    Love the Koch chemie compounds, such a pleasure to work with low dusting and great results. I Got the Koch system with matching pads from slims when the new range came out and it soon became my go to. I tried the rupes compounds when I picked up a new lhr15 mk3 and the rupes compounds are also great but I still find myself reaching for the Koch chemie whenever The polisher comes out.

    This is a great and thorough video on the koch chemie range. Just wondering if 1k nano will be effective on wheels? Can't remember them mentioning it

      Thanks for the kind words Fraser. 1k Nano is ok on any painted surface on the vehicle :)

    Are the Koch foam pads the same whether using a forced rotation DA or a regular DA?

    Looking good. Love these videos as it gives a more indepth perspective of the products. That last product in the queue with the light cut and carnauba wax looks good. Think we need James to get some touch up paint. If it's panther black I don't mind buying it and using it on my car first before giving it 😊

    Guys, where am I going wrong! I can’t seem to remove swirls! Am I going to quick? The bonnet on my car took me about half hour. Started with the heavy cut and then finished with the micro cut. Am I moving to quick with it?

    What size Koch pad would you use with a Bigfoot lhr15? 126 or 150? I’m confused versus the Rupes pads where they are 150 but taper to 130 at the base/ backing plate side.

    • @SlimsdetailingCoUk1
      @SlimsdetailingCoUk1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Providing you have kept the original backing plate with the polisher, you would need the 126mm Koch Chemie polishing pads :)

    Good video, simple, brief and to the point. This is not rocket science, only need to be shown the process and relevant information and proof. Picking KC products and incredible range is half way to a successful result. Could you guys let us know how the KC pads are with FR tools you were using. They look thin enough for stability, but anything you can add about them?

    • @SlimsdetailingCoUk1
      @SlimsdetailingCoUk1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much! That's our aim - to make the videos fun and informative without scaring anyone. The pads have a height of 23mm which creates low torsion forces whilst providing a high level of stability and excellent handling. The unique density of the foam enables long-lasting compression hardness during polishing and the milling edge provides great flexibility, allowing the pads to move around contours more easily. Head to the product page on our website for any more information by just searching for Koch Chemie Pads :)

    Really enjoyed this video as a beginner. Will m3 remove light swirls and marring? Looking for a 1 step for a new car with light defects.

    • @stefanbeale6335
      @stefanbeale6335 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on clear coat, ie paint manufacturer. M3 for soft clear coats but if it’s tough F6 is probably best. Always start with least aggressive as that may be enough

    Used m3 today with a rupes white pad on a scratched coated car. Took almost evrything out without removing the coating. Awsome stuff. Anybody use the p6 n how it compares to the champ of 1 steps sonax??

      HI, Koch Chemie recommended to us that finishing down with M3 was perfect before applying 1k Nano

  • @MumenRider78

    Which is the equivalent to the Sonax Perfect Finish? Does it have the same cut level?

    • @SlimsdetailingCoUk1
      @SlimsdetailingCoUk1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Koch Chemie P3 is a slight cut and finish or we recommend the New P6 one cut & finish, this has a sealant built in to it and is brilliant
