On 7:13 right behind the bus there's a vehicle driving a beam with workers on it, but I guess it's a model and mannequins of that famous image of Construction Workers Lunching on a Crossbeam.
I went to high school in the area 10 years ago. So much have changed since then. Looks a lot more 'premium' than it used to be. I bet the rent for these buildings is crazy.

Long island City most of the old buildings and Houses are gone , much more skyscrapers are coming up but on the over all a great place with a nice feel 👌
On the back blocks they still got old warehouses that's not going anywhere.

What I've noticed, there are mainly relatively young trees in NYC. At some point somebody noticed that there are hardly any trees in town and launched a campaign to "make our city greener". Do you know more about that?

When I lived in Long Island I took the train into the city and worked in Long Island City, which was in New York City and on Long Island but was not part of Long Island. Wait - WHAT?
I once walked from New York to Manhattan. Took me zero seconds. After that I walked from the borough of Brooklyn to King’s County in the same amount of time. The next day when in Brooklyn I walked to the City, and it took me an age!

You should throw in a few 1st amendment audits while your walking around. Better than an espresso to get the blood circulating. Problem is I think New Yorkers are used to cameras and take it as a mild nuance. As it should be.
