  • Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, varied cultures are good to observe around Chinatown. We start this walk at the Indian Court Hill Sri Ganesar Temple. We walk down to Chinatown next.
We explore the famous Petaling Street area which is interesting for tourists. After we saw enough shops we head South and visit the Chan She Shu Yuen temple.
Back towards Petaling street we check out some side streets with murals before we go further North to a more Indian / Nepali area. We walk through the Central market and head North to the Cathedral of St John, where we end this 1 hour walk.

time to do some strict enforcement couple with heavy penalty for infringement, the whole China town also need to have holistic overall planning in term of cleanliness, disable walkway and proper signage. There are too many cars and stalls blocking the walkway, also get rid of all those ugly corrugated roof stalls and replace with consistent standardize stall design to improve tidiness.

Camera view is much too low...like a 8 year old looking into people's backs and elbows lol...I do appreciate this channel and efforts but please film higher like ProWalk Tours does

One could say that that height is most realistic for viewers as most people are sitting and it's about the sitting height position. 😎 That position right now is most comfortable to hold for me though it may change. I have a new Z-Axis stabiliser that I'll test once travel is possible though it will take some time until I revisit Malaysia. There are still over 100 videos to be published with the current position which I prefer rather than having the camera on face level (also due to privacy concerns). Thanks for watching!

What I can conclude from this video
    1. From what I observed, places that are POLLUTED with imigrants are so filty and dirty because they practice the same thing they do in their OWN countries.
Therefore, if you can’t change your mindset to be a civilised human being don’t bother coming here and ruin our country :). Such an eyesore.
    2. People park motorcycles on sidewalks??????????????. Something needs to be done. Its the 2nd eyesore.
    3. Selling whatnot on the street? This aint Thailand. How are action not taken against these people. 3rd eyesore.
    4. If you see rubbish anywhere near you, it wouldnt hurt to PICK IT UP and help to dispose it in a nearby trash bin.
    5. Since it is soo hard to keep trash to yourself for a moment before disposing it, Why not we add A LOT OF TRASH BINS so nobody has a reason to litter except if they are raised in a barn.
    6. I dont see the point of having the no plastic bag campain if like almost everyone in this video is carrying a plastic bag???
7.I think theres a lack of signage for pedestrian.
    8. Not stopping the car when somebody is at the zebra crossing
    I rest my case.

Well said. Plus the graffiti wall vandalism which is another eye sore. Let's see what can Pakatan Harapan do.

You will stop complaining if you were living in any other SEA nation bar Singapore. Malaysia is still far cleaner than the rest of them.

It's high time the Mayor of DBKL and Ministry of Tourism do some upgrading to Petaling Streets/Chinatown and it's surroundings. It's a tourist spot and definitely it's a picture of Malaysia . Enforcement of law regarding CLEANLINESS , VANDALISM, ILLEGAL STREET VENDORS , ORGANISED SHOPPING LOTS AND PARKING LOTS OMG . EUWWW WE DON'T WANT BANGLADESH/INDIA TWIN CITY HERE .What's wrong with DBKL ???? Renovate/refurbish/ upgrade those run down shops & back lane.Replace old sidewalks ,add more CCTV. Give new vibes to this chinatown . This place is such an eyesore and sucks a lot . It's so contrast to modern KL skyline. WHERE ARE THE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ??? Do SOMETHING . ANYTHING to stop this RAMPAGE of immigrants on those streets of ours whatever their reasons running street vendor business .At least if those enforcement officers do something maybe those immigrants know what's wrong and what's right . If not then simply fine or confiscate !!!
