    Well done on the presentation and explanation. I want this SO bad! It’s really well done. It’s the most well done crossover of D&D and board games I’ve ever seen. The price point is for the most part understandable in light of painted minis and the physical content, but added to the tremendous potential costs of shipping and delays…that’s a painful amount of money.

    Thank you for the preview, and for not walking around with camera and triggering my motion sickness ! :D
    Looking forward to this game!

    Looks pretty cool. Two questions come to mind:
    - Mark mentioned multiple players a number of times, particularly when interacting with the NPCs where one player is trying to "guide" another player toward a result. How well does all that handle if you play the game solo though? (Since if I get this game it would be to play it solo I honestly don't care much how it plays multiplayer.)
    - How replayable is the game after finishing the campaign? Or is it strictly a one-and-done affair?

      Solo worked really well with the tutorial I played. But prefer playing with a group. Game is very repayable, Green Legacy. Meaning you can reset everything, pick a new character and start over.

    Great preview! Perhaps I missed this but are the hexagons placed randomly for each campaign and are there more hexagons than that there need to be placed? I.e.: are there places you dont visit in the first playthrough? Also, are the items in chests per class random or always the same? And do you get to see all of them at the first playthrough? Im curious about the replayability of the game.

    Very interesting. If I thought my wife would play this I’d definitely be getting it.

    I just found this now - and I cannot wonder or hope that this game will be something of a reference to Rydia from Final Fantasy 4. I would love to see some sort of Summoner character in this game or a mage, wearing green robes just as a silent nod to Rydia and you'd have me and thousands of other Final Fantasy 4 Fans sold on this!

    I was so close to pulling the trigger on this, but then I thought "I can spend 250 dollars on DnD books and accessories", and then I did that instead. I was already HEAVILY invested in DnD (bunch of collector's ed books etc) so it was an easy decision for me. If I had nothing DnD wise, I'd buy this for sure

    I just hope they make a better damage track (10:33) and a better way to search cards (05:45), perhaps just like a notched telephone book.

    The game is supposed to be "green legacy" - how do you re-use the character cards when you are marking off the boxes for levelling? Does it come with extras?

      Im assuming its wet erase.

    Those minis though... and that price... VAT makes it DOA...

    I thought Someone else who tested the game had said this wasnt a campaign game but it really sounds like one? Is it?

    • @lukejw11
      @lukejw11 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is. Green legacy

    • @mstreed
      @mstreed 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, open world. lots of directions. Totally repayable, Green Legacy, you can easily rest an start over with a different character.

  • @Dwarfurious
    @Dwarfurious 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    if they werent so lazy with the "dwarf" character model i'd be a bit more interesting. Taking a human model and shrinking it does not make a dwarf.

    Just on the NPC card. If solo what’s stopping you from just reading everything on the back of the card anyway? Seems flawed to me.
    Not a fan of the combat. Points of damage on a particular body part or weak spot. Yeah…whatever. Trying to be different I guess.
    Some good ideas here I like but I’m going to have to pass.

    • @JustinBuhler
      @JustinBuhler 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      What's stopping you is "I don't want to cheat, I'm not going to read everything on the back".

    • @warpaint9385
      @warpaint9385 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JustinBuhler do you really believe that lol? You maybe.
      It’s a mechanic that doesn’t really work in solo mode. Simple as that. I’d wager most people will just read it all.

    • @JustinBuhler
      @JustinBuhler 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@warpaint9385 from your perspective, it wouldn't work multiplayer either. The person reading the back (your teammate) could just tell you the best option. If you want to self-sabotage the experience for yourself, go for it I guess.

    • @warpaint9385
      @warpaint9385 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JustinBuhler I don’t have to because I’m not backing it based on that flawed mechanic I just mentioned plus the convoluted combat mechanic.
