Honda versus Briggs & Stratton 2200 versus pulsar 2000

- Three generator comparison which one has the power to kick in a compressor motor. Only one generator would start this little compressor and it was the Honda 2000 straight up competition it outperformed the Briggs & Stratton 2200 W generator and the pulsar 2000 W generator it was the only generator that would start the compressor run it up to 125 psi and restart the compressor with 80 psi. The other generators just choked down and shut off tripped out immediately. So my assumption is the Honda generator would start an air-conditioning unit much easier than the other two generators not sure what the differences whether it’s horse power or generator inverter size but the Honda was the only one that would start this compressor.
Honda makes the best little badass engines-- but I think if you are not needing high starting watts/amps for an air compressor then those other units would be just fine and cost a lot less. Don't get me wrong though, the little Honda motor is definitely the champ here!
That 'little' air compressor says it needs 10.5 amps. Likely it needs at least 50% more than that in a spike/short time at start up, which exceeds what the inverters on those other generators can provide. This is typical. Good to know that when you pay 2x as much for a Honda you actually get 2x or more the performance of a budget model. Briggs & Stratton engine should up their game and include an inverter that can perform as well as their engine and I'd bet they could win a test like this against the Honda.
That Honda is rated at 1800w running. I believe both others are 1600w running and better compared to the older Honda eu2000. Nothing beats Honda reliability.
Little hard to hear you ivee the engine buddy
