- Despite plans to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia in North Wales, including mountain hikes, we ended up relaxing on the beach, meeting new friends and enjoying the landscape which arrived in on Friday evening.
The cool water of the sea, the lack of breeze and hot temperatures forced us to stay by the beautiful Welsh coastline to stay cool and recharge our batteries.
This trip was essentially a "wild camp" with permission. Land owners do not officially allow over night camping will give permission if you're respectful, for a small fee.
There were all walks of life staying at Penmon point, from self build vans to Campervans to motorhomes. Attracting photographers, water sports enthusiasts and families looking for the ultimate beach experience.

In such weather it's an amazing place & one of our favourites for wild camping.
Stunning sunsets every clear evening & the huge bonus is the dolphins, if you're lucky to see them, which we have many times.

Great spot and great video guys, lots of gorgeous shots 😁 We really struggled for parkups on Anglesey, ended up staying no longer than a night 😔
It’s a very popular place, for good reason but numerous park ups are being closed down as not everybody looks after the landscape unfortunately.
