    I think they call them popovers in the U.S. I often make Yorkshire puddings - toad in the hole is a favourite in my family. I do prefer beef dripping, lovely extra flavour. I have even used them as a desert, with ice-cream and golden syrup! That's the first time I have seen it made in the air fryer.

      I use plain flour, between of my 2 ovens I had it was ranging from 200 to 210 😊

      Oh, yes...one of the best British treats. If you want it healthier or gluten free then chickpea flour works really well but will need a fair amount of baking powder and extra whizzing of the eggs.
      Thank you Ana ❤

    Some folks make 'popovers' as mentioned here by some. For many years I thought that Yorkshire pudding was made big and UNDER a roast beef at the end of cooking, with the drippings coming down on it, or is that just another way?

    • @AnasFoodLifestyle
      @AnasFoodLifestyle  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s would have been a very original way but this is more practical and incase you are roasting a bird rather than meat 😊

      @@AnasFoodLifestyle I guess I am just old and heard little and long ago. It never occurred to me that anyone would have Yorkshire Pudding with anything but a roast! I need to get with the times!

    Giant Yorkshire Pudding... someone make a full roast and lets make a wrap from it all, we'd make a great business from it... wait, I've been informed by my lawyer that such a thing already exists.
