Obviously the product she sells is going to be expensive. She is not creating clothes on mass level. Each dress is made with immense amount of intellect and human working hours. Please understand the difference!

Amazing work Kriti. Yes you are here to inspire slow fashion. Yes I wish it's time customers know the value of saving Industrial waste is the value you pay to save our mother earth.
Yes there's an urgent need to educate the consumers on quality of a product. It's time to learn to reuse and recycle, it our generation s will not survive the pollution we created.
Yes slow fashion is all about quality and not quantity. Therefore , there's cost involved. When fast fashion says buy one get one free here slow fashion / sustainable fashion/ Eco- friendly fashion is life saving and you pay for protecting our mother earth.
Enjoy wearing sustainable fashion brands and save mother earth👍

So many people are complaining about the prices without understanding. As someone who recycles clothes myself, i fully understand why recycled clothes are more expensive. The work is more tedious. Each piece of cloths should be evaluated, sorted by colour and texture in order to combine the many pieces tastefully. Each piece has a different shape and size, therefore it can't be piled up in several layers and cut in bulk by factory machines. It is a more tedious work where more hands are needed, more man hours spent.... and these people need to eat and live a decent life too. I recycle clothes only for myself and my family. I can't get myself to do it for anyone else coz it is too tedious. And if i were to do it for anyone else, the price would be high that noone would want to pay since new clothes at fast fashion stores are much much cheaper. All the wise guys who think that recycled clothes should be cheaper.... please learn the sew, mend, embroider.... make a piece of garment and then see if you are willing to spend that amount of time and energy just for pennies.

Seeing the video it makes us get inspired for the idea behind it and immediately wanted to jump in the site to help the cause. Thought to order some clothes for charity from them, and then realized if what they said is true...
They are buying a fabric at a very low price which is much less than the clearance sales that a customer gets, design n stitch to make it a design piece, and sell a very casual top/dress at a jaw dropping designed price of 6000. Its just that they buy stuff at lower prices to make a huge blasting profits.

The reality is its an art. People buy art pieces. We call it scrap coz this is how we know it. But scrap or not... Art is an art. 😏. So we all should either contribute or let it go. Becoz she is the creator. We are no one to decide the price tag.

To all those who think the prices of this brand are too high, there are many reasons to this. Simply put however, the designer must sustain herself to keep continuing her vision and stay profitable. These are pieces one must invest in, instead of buying 4-5 fast fashion items. It's a tradeoff at the end of the day.

I must say it's a good intention, but buying scrape clothes that too in India is pretty cheap and I'm pretty sure it is not worth the cost 5k plus. I think people will really appreciate your work but average Indian individual cannot afford your clothes. Considering Indian population and their needs for Indian clothes, if your clothes cant reach middle class Indian costumer then your hard work for the purpose is just going in drain. As Indian population mostly wear these clothes consider selling them for reasonable prices, only then ur efforts will be fruitful

People are forgetting that labour costs.... it is not just the scraps that might be cheap. these kind of clothes require more man power and more man hours coz a lot of it can't be done by machines because of the irregular sizes and shapes of the scraps. The people doing this work also need to live a decent life. People need to put themselves into the shoes of those sewing and be more appreciative of their hard work. People are spoiled by cheap machine made or slave labour made clothes.... people are losing all humanity and empathy and only think about the money and the materials.... and forget about our brothers and sisters actually doing the work.

They barely can save anything if they will not sell for this cost.
Let me explain a skilled person cost 18k/m of we have team of 10 it will be around 180000 pm. Machines are not cheap. The electricity bill.working of scrap is very costly. The top u buy from hnm mrp 500 rs. They do it mass production. 500 tops every day. You can understand why they charge less. Man we need to understand these things deeply and support such initiatives. It's just that rather buying 5 clothes each 1000 better to buy one of 5k. And lesser the carbon footprint. Buy we need to show the World we are Fashionista and can upload every day a pic with new garment. Please understand.

The prices for Daily wear dresses that too made out of scrap clothes doesn't make sense.....Try to decrease the prices which in turn may increase your sales. I really appreciate reuse of cloth waste or any waste but prices should make sense.Hope people understand my point.

@@meenakshisaxena5214 Yeah dear.... I deeply understand the cost of making these outfits differ from the regular factory outfits but if you note that my point is quite different... As such I'am not the one who has pointed out the price, there are n number of comments who pointed out the prices...well coming back to my point I just wanted them to sell more and earn more by decreasing the prices, so that it is affordable for the customers (or say poor or middle class people because it is highly impossible for them to buy a regular based outfit for 5k or even more) and which in turn may increase their sales super fast. So basically my point was if they make any outfit for sale then they must also have customers to buy them because they can't only process the outfits and keep them in their godown for months, they need to sell them out... Right?
      Hope you understand my point.

@@rairai5068 no dear u really need to understand the business concept about the brand. I am sure you must be doing great. But not what you are doing is what she is doing. I am in this business for more than 10 years. The cost is well quoted. And please note when there is some designer range it always has its customer targeted. So the main purpose is that if some someone wanna buy something designer than they should chose desi designers. Rather than flaunting one's major desiner bag clothes among the group of ignorant youth it's better to chose this product. People will never question LV and Chanel just because the marketing is huge. Cleebraties are using those so no one can question. But do someone thought do those LV and Chanel even cost that much. No they do not. The making cost is very basic. The only lesson is this one can buy those kind of bags just to fit in somewhere why not buy from these people.
