@@DB-hl8sp I mean after turn overbet we will see allin with a big made hand most of the time IMO. Jungleman actually seemed to have a big draw he couldn't fold
Poker is a tough game when the deck isnt smacking you in the face. Mariano must do less, he is forcing it. In lean times, focus on playing perfect and losing the least. Everyone now believes must get all thin value now. Knowing when there is actual value and then trying to save bets is how you reach the pinnacle
There is a podcast with trueteller where they talk how they see the game. They are definitely high iq gifted people with synesthesia. Many top players are like fedor holz who has 155 (almost genius level)
Jungleman with pocket 4s made 4 mistakes in the hand. First he called the raise on the flop set mining with an 8% hand. Then ge does not bet the turn. To make it worse he does not check raise the turn bet. Lastly he does not bet the river. He got lucky to begin with yet got minimum value from his opponent.
What reads? Jungle didn’t raise the turn on the first hand. In the second hand, he overbet the pot on the river, targeting an Ace when Mariano only had second pair and would have folded to a smaller bet.
he plays looser in these streams typically, I think partly to get invited back and partly to create an image. he also knows he's on a completely different tier post-flop than all of these players.
@@marcom.carioba8776 I wouldn't say I'm amazing, but I have played 10M+ hands on PS over the last 15 years recreationally and currently play NL50 breakevenish. I'd say that's pretty decent... Would Jungle shove A x there knowing Mariano could be trapping with AK , AA , KK , AQ maaaaaaaybe even AJ ??? Flush bricked out could be setting him up for that mandatory bluff spot with Queen high 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah doesn't really make sense from a value hand perspective. Mariano is so polarized overbetting that jungle has no incentive to go all in on the river with most of his range since he doesn't have nutted hands in this board except the occasional set of 9s.
But when Mariano checks the river the story makes no sense. He was repping a huge hand and then checks the river? He has no incentive to induce bluffs like a missed flushdraw since flushdraws already folded the turn except combo draws like QJs or flushdraws with a 9 that also have a pair but these hands have a bit of showdown value.
So jungle knows that Mariano is not trapping with AA KK and goes all in on a purely exploitative bluff that works against a weaker player like Mariano who didn't even think through the hand and instantly folded lol
I think both were played perfectly. Hand one, strong raises means Q. Q on board is spade, aggressor doesn’t have many Spades due to that. Jungle was 100% going to shove all in on a flush card, got lucky on turn and decided to value. Second hand, Marian turned his hand face up on turn, jungle took advantage with Jam. It would be a good bluff if it was a heads up pot where the ranges are much wider and blocking the K and having the AK range advantage he can make fold to many weak As, but the live multiway scenario make syou have to play tigther and makes that bluff pretty punty, since jungle can have plenty of combo draws or random 2 pairs calling a flop multiway.
