That looks so much like my Grilla grills. I've got a PID controller and it's lasted well over 5 years old without even so much as replacing a hot rod. Those Z-Grills look nice. I agree about the upper shelf. Great price.

Nice grill, but I have to agree with you on the grill size and configuration. If not for cooking space, to be able to cook on the top grate and put a drip pan under it to minimize clean up like you have shown us several times. I have the 7002C2E and it lacks the same thing. They got it right on the 600 you have featured. I can't imagine the incremental cost would be that much more. Sounds like a task for Smoke Daddy.

I am a Sam's club member and reading on their website about the z grill customer service has me wary of purchasing one of the pellet grills. They range from no response to just sending a bunch of parts with no instructions. Have you had this experience?
