Malamala Beach Club 4K

Today's journey took us to Malamala Beach Club, a private island in the Mamanuca Islands. We were picked up form our hotel and transported via bus to Port Denarau near Nadi Fiji. From Port Denarau we hopped on a very large catamaran that took us to Malamala Beach Club.
Malamala Island is small enough that you could walk around it in under a half hour. On the right- hand side of the island (if you're facing it standing on the pier) is the actual Beach Club. The DJ doesn't stop playing upbeat club music until the last boat leaves the island. You can hang out on the white sand beaches or in a cabana. You can spend the day floating in crystal clear Fijian waters surrounded by coral reefs and vibrant fish, or sipping a beautifully made cocktail in their infinity pool. Malamala also has non-motorized water craft for you to take out if you desire.
Michelle and I chose to rent a cabana for the day. We were concerned that we would need a place to rest as we booked the longest amount of time on the island one could for the day. I'll tell you what, we were never without something to do. If we weren't snorkeling the gorgeous coral reefs or hanging out in the pool listening to the tropical house music, we were walking barefoot in the soft sand or jumping off the pier. Time definitely flew on Malamala island. It did get a little windy towards the end of the day because of a tropical storm moving in. Little did we know that storm would interfere with our plans to go back to the Mamanuca Islands the next day.
