The book is how I was introduced to Tom Alphin. Great reading. Very inspiring builds by many talented designers (if a bit intimidating because they are so great). Tom's mini builds are fun to make. Even if you don't own the Architecture Studio set, most builds can be done with bricks most lego aficionados have. Tom's monthly newsletter is a true gem : he always manages to point me in the direction of online articles I had missed, many not just set reviews (a zillion TH-cam channels cover those), but also of general interest.
Wonderful overview of historical and modern architectural styles! I’m not much of an architecture buff - I arrived at Tom’s work initially due to a desire to label and sort a growing Technic parts collection - and this was a great and accessible introduction to periods of architecture, featuring some very cool LEGO builds and some buildings I recognize :)
