lol same here. Here's my tool change procedure: Hunt for the hex key, hunt for the cheater pipe, root around the drawer for the right tool, tighten the tool to what you feel is good and hit the start button.
An awesome app to look into getting if you ever want to program these kind of machines CNC simulator it lets you write programs and runs the program on a simulated CNC machine
I knew nothing about cnc 2 years ago. I do maintenance and change ball screws bearing packs etc...I can jog, set offsets, and cut parts now but I load there program.
Machining is not too hard, programming Code and the right strategy to finish a part correctly so it fits the tolerances - that's something that only is learned and gets better with experience. I love these videos from titan he really makes people get interrested about the trade. dang wish i could even migrate to the US and work for him :D
@Metal Dawg yes i know, i work with these kind of machines. I mean with the setup done on video, there is no toolholders that could work in half position?
@@X197ToPlay It is so easy to break tools if you mess up the the turret set up. But this goes in the right direction - long tools one side short tools the other, no one want's to crash their brand new kennametal bad boys ;)

The unmachined parts of the turret look a bit rough. They could do to make them look a bit nicer before painting. I know it does not detract from the machine running but does make me question overall quality of the machine.
@@harduslauwrens2501 I bought my first LB15 in the 1980s I think it was and it cost £78,000. I wrote the cost on a big card and put it up behind the machine to remind me of what it had to do to pay for itself.

what it must be like to have the proper tools for a job.
When your shop has sponsors...... They are constantly plugging this or that company.

I recently acquired some KM tooling and I’m using them on my ProtoTrak lathe. It’s nice tooling to have.
I saw that thanks for sharing. Charles
Dream machine! I hope, next year, Doosan PUMA 2100LYSii is in my workshop. I'm very happy with Doosan DNM5700.
Thank you, That is excellent! Kennametal Is a Great Product!
Sempre acompanho vocês, vocês são Feras demais, abraço Cruzeiro - SP - Brasil.

Insane, so much capability in one machine
Amazing, more videos like this please !
Beautiful tools install
hey what torque are you using to tighten
Why such loudly music ? Hard to focus
Tell us about the round shank style kenloc blocks if you use them.
hey, i dont have this 4 slots on my live tools how should i align those live holder.
Next video with Capto?
probably about 40k dollars worth of tooling in that lathe
Good machines all cnc
I wish I could have a machine that can hold that amount of tools. I run a haas lathe and it's so limited on holding tools

Sir water jet machine used material checking
the tool holders seem to bulky if u ask me id be worried about crashing the turret more often.
With this kind install of tools, you are not able to use positions 13-24?

This turret setup is questionable over all :D

@Metal Dawg A little filler and a proper paint job make all the difference. Our Okumas were always well finished.
dude that's a japanese manufactured machine - believe me it's top of the game!

It’s the Kennametal KM interface. Very similar to HSK though.
