I would feel comfortable to make a 3D Printed version. As a prototype. Easiest answer ? Would you want to be in a full size airplane with a laminated part holding up the full weight of a commercial airplane carrying multiple tonnes of weight ? Not sure i would want to myself ??

If they used Titanium they'd have to have the cooling on and you wouldn't be able to see a thing. This is a demo.
